Virgin Ground And The Little Star Asterion

@TurboBucket ,Will do. Plants did the same thing last round though. But I will definitely check tomorrow anyway.

How you liking your new light? I should stop by and see. I'm on kindle and for some reason I don't get alerts like I do on my phone. So I lose everyone from time to time.

No buggies. Run-off was 6.4 I fed them at 1/3 Fox farms recommendations. I think they are very hungry. Gonna keep a close eye on them for sure.

I had the worst night. Screwed my lower back up right before bed. I "slept" sitting up on my couch. With a bone shaking series of cracks, it fixed itself this morning. I'm still tender, but at least I can walk up stairs now. I couldn't even take the dog out last night.

So far so good. Fed them Sunday and they are greening up. I am going to give them a molasses and mag feed. I did buy some pulverized colonists today. I am just going to leave that autocorrect. It is supposed to say dolomite. Poor, poor colonists.lol!

Perhaps I should top dress with the lime instead. Better go do some reading on it. If you guys have any ideas on it ,don't hesitate.

Lime???

Why????

Why did u pulverize the colonists? What did they do to you????
They looked at me wrong....They were too colonial, for my taste....I dunno why I done it....WHY?!!!

Anyway, I fell asleep instead of reading, or because of, it's a fine line. You ever use lime for calmag or ph control? Back to reading......definitely NOT napping;).

No lime for me, I use the calmag myself, but I left the dirt grow for other things now

It's how I roll...lol

They are still a little purple, but I'm going in the right direction. No new burn or progression to older damaged leaves.
I fed the molasses and epsom. I let ph rest at 6.6ish to allow better absorption of Ca and MGSO4.

I'm going to add lime next watering.

Beautiful VG! :)

They are looking much better. They are almost twice the size that their donors were.
I think I was being too exact on the pH. I need to let it drift a bit more.
The lights are as high as I can hang them. They are also at 100% power. They seemed to handle it fine.

They have reached their stretching phase. 17" from qbs. 100% power.
So much for an even canopy. The mains are outpacing the rest. Unruly clones. That's what I get for not training. Not sure how many times I topped them.....a bunch.

Gave them water today and scratched some lime in. I know they have some purple in their genetics, but they kinda still look like they are deficient and pale between the margins. The mature leaves also have a purple-green iridescents to them and still have red petioles. So this makes me think underfed. Get I have a very small amount of either tip burn or early deficiency or lockout. I don't think it is lockout. Ph has been good as far as run-off. I am going to do a soil test in the next few days. I want to do a better ph check.

Why wasn't my first purchase a ppm meter? Regretting that. I will get one soon. Looking at a bluelab.

Ppm is nice, but knowing the % of the nutes your using is just as beneficial, and when u see issues, back off.

I never push my nutes, usually stay at 1/2 strength and coast along

I am only at 1/3. I will increase next feed. I just know the tiger bloom is really strong. Did you burn your girls with it when you used it?

Probably not, because you are not a silly chick with no ppm meter.Lol!

How close do y'all let your qbs get to your plants?

You have qb288 right

I had mine as close as 12" late in flower, but 18" is probably a better distance, I had height issues late in flower in my small tent

Yep 288 260 watt. I should have enough room. I can always redo my venting outside of the tent if I run into trouble. It would give me another 6" at least .
