Seems totally stable.
I think the louvered vent covers will be the ticket, for sure! Definitely a great idea to control your airflow.I'm not sure how many passive intakes to add. I thought that I would base it on a tent of similar size. I think two decent size ones with dampers may work.
I can hide them behind furniture if I plan it right.I think the louvered vent covers will be the ticket, for sure! Definitely a great idea to control your airflow.

Let me know your thoughts. Am I missing anything? Do you think that 2 vents are enough ??
bet the varnish said " SHADE: Trump-Tan " heehee. looks good Vg.Didn't think it was that bad for repurposed pallet wood.
cardboard on a timber frame with mylar for door. Cant sing the praises of recycling strong cardboard enough. very light but strong when stapled to a thin wood frame. my whole attic build is 2 old sliding doors and cardboard walls. Doesnt need to hold any weight just mylar. mobile walls in a way !. just a thought and a re-cycler. lolNo idea what to do for a door.
I could buy one but I don't have an extra $120 laying around.
Rough opening is 19 3/4" x 81 1/8". No finishing trim.
Looks like they were going to put a bi-fold door in perhaps.
I'll hit Craigslist or our local materials recycling store.
Yes, 4" cloudline.2 should be more than good. are you running an exhaust fan ?? and what size ?
Yes, 4" cloudline.
I have a curtain for now. I'll eventually have one. Either I will make one with industrial velcro, canvas and a tent zipper or buy one. The ones I've seen are adhesive and look kinda flimsy. I need it to be easily removeable from the bottom. I have rolling carts to store some of my supplies on.you might be pulling enough with it that you will not need much of an intake.. inch square or so. would be surprised how much air leaks in around cracks etc. light tight is not the same as airtight.
have you considered light traps if it's the only door ?
Most everything that I've used so far has been repurposed. Fasteners and paint are new.cardboard on a timber frame with mylar for door. Yes. I know. I can build a jamb no problem.Lock for kids?
A door is easy to install, even with no jamb
Easy peasy
Hey V-gizzles!
Maybe, I'll just watch from a distance & pipe up when actually asked for advice. LoL
