Virgin Ground And The Little Star Asterion

He has two decent sized autos in there. Pink Kush and Purple....monkey dishwasher..I dunno. Something purple. Lol.
Yuppers! One Pink one Purple auto.

They are in 5gal pots now, but only filled about 2/3 of the way. Roughly 3 gallon-ish. I was trying to keep their root bed short & wide in hopes that the plants would also stay short & wide.

I've had really good results with standard 3 gallon pots though. That's kinda my sweet spot for autos. I generally reserve more square footage for my photo plants though.

I'm thinking four five gallon pots is going to be very snug in my little 2x4. I'm now wondering if this is feasible?
I have a small humidifier I need to fit in there as well.

i know plastic is frowned upon...

however, used to run 200 of these 7 gal rectangular pots. the shape is great for managing space.
they are rubbermaid 2956 office wastebaskets. drilled for drainage and lst.
can get them super cheap if you buy in lots. otherwise there are cheap dollar store versions

Start feeding early and to keep the height down you can top within a certain window, but I only top plants that are showing steady growth.
I've heard that if you feed with flower nutes they stop stretching and start flowering. There's some control. Just makes for yield adjustments. That info's in the life of an auto. I haven't experienced it myself that I know.

That could be but also have no idea. I use MC and I've never experienced it with that product. It's the same ratio throughout veg and flower without changing the line or adding extra supps for flower.

Cute babies!
Brought the light down a bit. I'll lower it some more tomorrow. They are a bit stretchy. No biggie.
Good color on them.

Hopefully, with any luck they won't be under that light for long. And with a bit more luck they won't damp off or anything else horrible.
It's a bit crowded down in the veg area.
I should grab another one of those smd lights.....someday. Lol.
Two would be much better. They put off zero heat. That's the only reason that I can use it under a fish tank.

If they were quadlined they probably would have been happy through harvest. Not that I recommend quadding an auto.

I doubt that's the case. There's nothing magical about flower nutes except that they have less N and more K. Which just means your plant is likely to show a nitrogen deficiency rather than burst into flower! Of course, none of that applies to MC as mentioned.

Nice job Shed, but I'd need more space or I'd freak out. I don't even like 4x5gals right now. I'm thinking doing 3x5 or 2x7gal next time. I like to have room and if my stock is good then no need to grow four.

Howdy y'all.

Any of you ever use The Real Seed co. genetics?
They are all unhybridized strains. I've been intrigued by their Mazar-I-Sharif. She's a landrace Afghani that likes the cold. They mention snow......turns her a deep blood red.
She gets really big though. Cool plant.

Babies are closer to the light. I don't expect any kind of light stress but will keep a watchful eye. I'll add more promix. They stretched a bit much for my liking.
