Virgin Ground And The Little Star Asterion

I have 4 bolts in my back. Before surgery it was pain 24/7 365....sucked

Best thing I ever did was the surgery

It's a big change, but 1st thing I noticed after was I could bend over to brush my teeth...lol...the little things and one day at a time
If it takes half of the pain away for even a few years it will be totally worth it. I need too think about making my own tinctures, lotions, oils etc. and get more serious about making my own meds. I've just been learning to grow so far.

Stay off the bikes!
Never!!! Got a new beauty the other day. Little kid rode out in front of me, didn't want to hit him, could have done some damage to a five year old.
Check her out. Stings like crazy when I walk.

Just trying to keep this journal up and running.
Himalaya Gold is really tightening up nicely in cure. I really like her scent now. It's crazy how much she stunk at the beginning of flower, she's a totally different plant.

Lemon is fruity and fragrant as they come. Just about a week and I'm going to sample her for a special occasion.

I located some Everclear 151 near me so I will be attempting to make some tinctures in the close future. Do y'all think that I could reduce it on my coffee maker? I don't own an induction burner or whatever they are called.

Hey VG! Good to hear about the Himalaya Gold not so good to hear about the rest. I seem to remember telling you about this before but my mother slipped a disc whilst working in a care home and ended up having years off work for it. Myself and my two brothers were only young and my father had to work to pay for everything. Looking back it seems crazy to think that we survived but we did. She ended up having surgery and made a good recovery. She says that she'll never be 100 percent but most days she can forget about what happened and is back to work full time. That was about 20 years ago now. I think that the surgery would be life changing for you. Sorry but I have no idea about the coffee maker. I'm not clued up in the tinctures department yet

There’s also some great info about rso too.

My Dr. wants to do injections but I really don't want to wait. I want to do surgery ASAP. There is no sense in putting myself through a bunch of epidural proceedures. I'm supposed to call him tomorrow so we can discuss it further.

Physical therapy is helping a bit but I get very store after that handsome young man stretches me out.

Thank you sweetie! It will be a good read before bedtime.
I bet that Lemon is going to make a nice tincture.

I've had 4 failed back surgeries.... sometimes the least bit of intervention is the best route.

Just MHO. I lived through 9 years of agony as they cut me over & over. I know this is not always the case, but it happens more often than people realise

Yeah, that sucks P. It's hard to live in pain constantly, it changes a person for sure.
A friend of mine had part of a scalpel left inside of her, it screwed her up worse than the original problem.

I originally had S1/L5 fused because I shattered L5 pretty bad.

The screws from the first fusion broke my L4 vertebrae 18 months later.

About 2 years after that, I had to have a complete hardware revision because the screws had all come loose (yes, I have a few screws loose) lol

That surgery consisted of removing 6 bolts & 4 rods, then replacing with larger screws & rods.

The final fusion was adding L3 on the stack because there is no disc left between L4-L3. Damage from immobilizing all the lower vertebrae.

I'm stable now & off pain meds, but I'm heavily medicated with herb. Like an ounce a week... But, I'm living a decent life now.

Glad you are off of the pharmaceuticals. I'm sure it took a lot of will power. I hate pills. I can see the possibility of abuse and just want to steer clear of it. I'd rather learn to make my own meds,at least I can handle the side effects and any withdrawal is usually psychological for me.

My fusion was c5 and they think it may have put to much pressure on the vertebrae above, that coupled with my degenerative disease cracked the hell out of it. I don't have any herniated discs yet but they are bulging and very inflamed.

Of course I do, but what really worries me now is my chiro is really handsome and I'm wondering if he's been trying to stretch me out too!
I'm 100% sure that he is. He did pick a hands-on job. Lol.

Pro tip: Don't eat enchiladas the night before a chiro appt.
