Virgin Ground And The Little Star Asterion

Yeah, trimming's not too bad-just put on some good music, get comfortable, and take your time.
My last outdoor grow,I had 4 plants worth to trim, and it got pretty tedious by the end-almost 6 pounds of wet bud...

You must made me really glad that I only grow a couple plants at a time. I'm done in a couple of hours. I listen to weird podcasts while I trim, Art Bell type of stuff. Lol.

Happy Mom day VG! My best time harvesting, I ate an edible about 1 hr before and watched parks and recs. Totally enjoyable harvest. I keep meaning to do that every time, but I keep forgetting.
Sorry I missed this. Happy belated mom's day to you too. :green_heart:
I'll for sure try the edible next time. Good tip!

If I'm lucky I'll get to try the lemon on 4th of July. The HG will be done by then.

The HG is a 12% thc indica leaning plant while the sativa leaning lemon comes in at 20% thc.

I have to admit that I'm pretty excited to harvest these. Fattening up like a xmas turkey sounds good... we'll go with that!:ganjamon:

Anyone want to learn how to make a natural rooting hormone?

This is an extremely easy willow water recipe.

You will need
A willow bush or access to one.
a glass canning jar
pruning shears
boiling water
and the sun.

You ideally want the early spring growth from the willow, the baby green twigs. These contains the largest amounts of Salicylic and Indolebutyric acids. These acids right off fungal and bacterial infections as well as stimulate root growth.

After you have gathered a large fist full of twigs you will want to strip them of their leaves. Next, cut your twigs into small pieces. Put them into a canning jar until they fill it 1/3 of the way. Add your boiling water to the stems and let them sit in the sun 3-5 days. The water should fill 2/3 of the jar or about 3 cups.

This will make a 1:1 mix with water.

Smartie pants VG!! :bravo:
Cheapskate VG. I ran out of aspirin, so I thought I'd get to the basics.
When this is done brewing I will take some clones with this method and my old honey method, heck, maybe I'll do one with both together, why not?

How are you today?

How are you today?
Good, thanks! Feelin low key today. Finally got the tent moved out of the garage and put some bricks under my girls for runoff collecting. It’s such a relief when all’s said and done.
How about your smartie little self? How you doin?

Lots of yard work. Feeling pretty good though. I'm sure I'll say different tonight when my muscles start aching.

Barely got up this morning in time to feed the girls. I was way to tired last night.
They are plucking away. HG is really using up her sugar leaves though. I've got quite a few crispy leaves and i don't think I should really do anything about it other than remove them.
I can't find my loupe, but she looks close to done.
Lemon looks like she has quite a ways too go yet.

I've been working on a barrel pond all day. So far it's looking pretty good. I still need to get a water lily and some fish to complete it. I'll toss some pics up when I'm done. It's my little piece of Zen.

Thanks for the rooting recipe. Thought the leaves would go in and stems out. Good one.
My nana said to use the young bark. She used to chew on willow bark for toothache and soak her feet in it.
