ViparSpectra KS5000 Helps GDB Seek Anxiety!

Advantages of end of life drought application include some hermie protection. Remember when we are droughting we are tinkering with the species survival responses that include self-pollination. Applying EOL drought the hermies that may appear do not have time to develop and pollinate the remaining active bloom pistols. As long as you can see white pistols you are in active bloom. I often end with 3 or 4 seeds per ounce of flower. PERFECT. The pollination of a few gonads indicates you have pushed all the right buttons. Run them bitches in the dust.

Ahoy GDB,

This is picture perfect. The absolute best-looking plant I have seen outside of my own garden. Your successful application of drought has brought out the beauty and richness of her genetics. The ratio of amber trichomes is no longer what you would expect and not a concern in an "end of life" drought. Call me silly but let her go up to harvest without any rescue assuming harvest is in a few days. The crunchy parts of the colas will balance out during cure. Also nothing to worry about. This is plant of the month quality. Well done my friend.
Whoa. That is high praise indeed coming from you. Wow GDB - you got skills!

Good day growers!

I'm feeling kind of giddy this morning, but more about that in a few!:yahoo:

The GM clone is quite crispy! Some of her leaves that were still viable yesterday dried out overnight. I had another droughted plant that behaved this way. I had to give her water while leaving her in an extended dark period for her to juice back up. I'll do the same with the GM clone and I'll think she'll be okay.

I'm anxious to get the GM down and out of the 2x2 tent so that I can put the Crescendo clone (flip 41) in there. At 17 inches from the soil to the top of the plant, the Crescendo is 7 inches shorter than the GM was. She'll be a much better fit for the @ViparSpectra XS1500 Pro where she is positioned. The Crescendo will have a full 16 inches between it's top and the light (the GM clone had only 9 inches). I might even get to run the light at 100% with her!

On to the feedback, which I greatly appreciate and enjoy!

She's a pleaser!
Thanks Stone! I think she might be a keeper. :thanks:
I hear you but that’s a really noticeable increase. I think you can take some credit!
Thanks Jon. Well, if you're gonna' twist my arm I'll take a little credit! :)
Oh wow yea I agree they dont look bigger it just looks like there’s more of varying sizes much more closely packed than before.
Conclusive photo proof I’d say
Thanks Lootz. There is a difference. But I'd like to see more before/after droughting pics of trichs from others. :Rasta:
I'd say that amount of amber is giving me anxiety! ✂️
Sorry to hear Shed. That was not my intent!
So frosty ! Do you press your buds for rosin ??
Thanks 70s!

I most certainly do. In fact, yesterday I did my first smash of the Crescendo mom that I recently took down. She was special!

I smashed her at 180 degrees for about 7 minutes total (2 minutes of low pressure followed by 2 of medium then 3 of max). She looks "well done." I'm going to try another smash later today at around 160 degrees.

The best news, however, is that when I dabbed some of the rosin and I was zooted for about 6 hours! I'm not exaggerating. I was floating on a slow-moving cloud for the entire evening. I will confess that the ride may have been extended/enhanced by the few 300mg Delta 9 THC gummies I took along the way but I remain impressed!

Now, let's talk about my giddiness!

Many of the seeds I've grown recently have come from Blimburn (BB) Seeds. I rarely mention that fact since they are not a sponsor here. Anyhow, the Reeze McFlurry, the Gush Mints and the Purple Star Killer were all from BB.

So about a month ago BB held a photo contest for folks who had pics of their strains. I entered the contest with a pic of the GM/RM side by side.

And this morning I got an email telling me that I won! Jeezy Peezy, I won a $300 voucher for more BB seeds! :yahoo:

I'm not a spring chicken and I already have, I believe, more seeds than I'll likely get to grow. Well that belief is no longer in doubt.

Not to say I was excited, but I spent the morning putting together the order. BB is currently having a BOGO sale so now's a good time to move on some of their seeds.

Here's the list of what I ordered (each is a 6-seed pack).

Gelato
Hippo High
Willie Nelson
Slurricane
Lambs Bread
Super Lemon Haze
OG Kush

and

Kyle's Skywalker OG (8 seed pack)

So it seems I'll be growing BB seeds for a while and I ain't complaining! :Rasta:

That's all for today. I'm hitting the "post reply" button at around 5:30 pm even though I started this post around 8am.
That's due to the Crescendo dab hit! I've been all over the place today. Distractions have ruled the day. Out to the store, cooking, cutting grass. I love Crescendo smash! :)

As always, thanks for your peepers.

PEACE.

300 mg gummies sound really strong- and you took "a few"?
Damn, I'd be stoned for a week if I tried that..:lot-o-toke:

:yahoo: on the prize winnings GDB, not to mention the excellent squish (never seen anyone use 160º except on the way up making diamonds as I recall from Grandpa's thread) and the upcoming harvest and rearrangement!
Thanks Shed. I'll be playing around with different smash temps just to see what happens ("For the anecdote.").

HHey, you might live to be 100, you never know...
Congrats on the sweet contest win GDB!

How bout a look that award winning photo?:cheesygrinsmiley:
Thanks Carcass!

If I live to be 100 it's guaranteed that I'll never know! :)

Here's the winning pic:

I think it was the yellow leaf on the floor that must have pushed her over the top!

My bad, I think that means the entire bottle of 20 pieces = 300mg, so 15mg apiece. :hmmmm:

That's a great photo, GDB...yeah, that yellow leaf really does it for me!
My bad, I think that means the entire bottle of 20 pieces

Ha! that makes more sense- I thought, man... that GDB's got some unreal tolerance!

Congratulations on your winning photo GDB!:thumb:

Highya GDB,

Congratulations on zooting!! Very nice way to spend the day!! I'm there most of the time, maybe not quite like that. Sure makes living in this world much better!! Why do you feel the need to get the leaves moist again, if you're going to dry her soon anyways? Just curious. Oh, and I guess the prediction for the Heat to lose 4 straight is a moot point, now. Oh, well. A championship is still great. Happy Smokin'
