I wish I would have grabbed pics of the Ghost Train. That had some impressive roots!Beautiful roots! And everyone's happy! Nice goings on!
Glad to hear that I'm not the only one excited about roots!Absolutely beautiful !!
That's the type of roots we get excited for here at DYNOMYCO!
Keep it up
My mix is very similar. Probably has a bit less perlite in it. Playing it safe may pay off!Your plants are looking good VG.
I was listening to one of the KiS Organic’s pod casts. He said he likes a basic soil mix of 20% EWC, about 33-34% perlite and the rest peat moss, so I think you got it just about right.
Nice looking roots. Do you score them before planting?
There is a little bit on the Sirius Black but she looks like she is rebounding now. I had a nap today. It was a good day for that. It snuck up on me though. Was just snuggling with the pooch on the couch. He has a way to knock me out with his rythmic snoring and radiating warmth.Three beauties, stellar roots, and not a single mention of any leaf discoloration...I gotta say it is a good day!
Highya Bode.Highya VG,
Very nice looking ladies! I think soil based organic growing is more forgiving. That's why I really like it. Besides, it's more natural. You seem to be getting used to the learning curve! Happy Smokin'
Great work mate!! A++ for the effortLol. Yes, it does sound like family.
I've gone no contact with most of mine.
I think it's both. Organic soil premixed at the store is pretty moist when you get it. I assumed that they were keeping the microbes alive and not just making a breeding ground for fungus gnats. They need their product to be ready to feed right away.
Don't expect that a lot of folks would buy something that gives yellow plants right off the bat.
I probably don't have the luxury of doing that with my GDP I'm transplanting next but in the future I think kickstarting the soil pre-transplant could change things for the better in my grows.
I was nervous mixing a simple soil for these girls. I think starting off with an uncomplicated mix is the best approach for me. I can get overwhelmed easily. I think the additions of @DYNOMYCO and Earth Alive are paying off!
Looks like it's working....
@Atreum Lighting Ara-41 480 watt fixture is 30,000 lux at the canopy. I'm not pushing them too hard and they aren't stretching too much.
The driver on this fixture is sizeable so it does put off some heat. I asked Atreum what kind of cord they use so I could get a longer one and place the driver outside of the tent. I have ac in this room. It should help with my situation in the tent. It's not terrible in there but it is warmer than I like to run. I like to keep as many terpenes intact as possible and growing in cooler conditions helps with that.
Atreum reminded me that they are one of my sponsors and that they would just send one out to me.
Real nice people.
The @Weed Seeds Express chickies don't look half bad.
The Sirius Black still needs to be topped. I'll do that tomorrow-ish.
She was the last to be transplanted so she's a bit yellow yet. Takes some time for those roots to hook up I guess.
I'm expecting a delivery from my sponsor @GeoFlora Nutrients. I guess the original package was damaged and returned to them.
I hope it comes soon. I'm almost out of the veg formula. It's all of those clones and mom plants. They just gobble the stuff up.
I would really like to try their product in my outdoor veggie garden. If they send enough perhaps I'll do a few tomatoes or pepper plants. I bet it would do a stellar job on leafy greens.
That's it for the quick-n-dirty. Hope y'all are well and enjoying the little things in life.
There can be beauty in even the smallest of things. Don't take them for granted.
Thanks DAB!Beauty plants, VG!
Thanks WSE!!Great work mate!! A++ for the effort
I’m just happy to be here!I appreciate you coming through.
FTFYI'm always afraid of dropping them on my foot
I was smiling this morning when I opened the tent. Then it smelled a bit poopy and my smile faded a bit but not fully. It's always like that right after topdressing day. Maybe not the best type of nutrients for a bedroom grow.To me they are all lovely looking plants in the morning. Nice care V.G.
Cool looking humidifier, right? LolThey all look like winners, VG!
Can you PM me more info. about your new humidifier? It sounds like something I could use.
My poor feet....I blame gravity. The plants are looking happy as pigs in [nutes that smell like] shit! And congrats on the new bags and bags. Noice.
FTFY
freshdairy air...derrière?
Yeah, it is! Please let me know how it works for you.Cool looking humidifier, right? Lol
I got it today.Yeah, it is! Please let me know how it works for you.
They have been missing the humidity.Hi V! Chickies are looking lovely!
They do so much better with a RH in the zone!I got it today.
It's super fancy and seems to be working well.
I will post a little info about it on my main journal (first link in my signature) a bit later.
I didn't realize that it had a temp readout on it or a five year warranty.
My last one had a 60 day warranty.
They have been missing the humidity.
They still look good but they seem a bit droopy from the sudden change.
Hopefully the new one will perk them back up a bit.
I've had a busy day. Time to chill.
