I wasn't disappointed in the weight, just my drying, more so not going with my gut. All good now, I'm good. Lol

Well Vex I will say this take it how ever. When I got my very first harvest two girls in coco. One threw so i took he/she out fast which was still well enough in bloom to have good buds from the plant so did the fridge cure and the other girl dried in the tent. The one i did in the tent quality to me was way better not to say i didnt do either cure correctly due to it being my first harvest. Long story short got two more girls in bloom wit bout a month to go and both of them will b dried in the tent.

Great job and hey many more harvest to come with many more ways to cure. Find what works for you and 6 ounces off one girl is fantastic. And if thats 6 oz overdried then that means it was a GREAT HAUL!! Great work and will look forward to the next if many!!

That was my point is that the buds lose between 70-80 percent of their weight when they dry, as you know. They shrink up fast haha.
For me, I'm in the 1.5 - 2 zip skill level apparently haha. I'm happy with that though cause I can produce 2zips in less than 75 days from seed with autos. I think I have room to grow in the yield department but the time investment is the same.

Thanks guys, really, I'm good now. Nothing a nice joint couldn't cure after my initial aggravation. Lol

I'm very happy with what we accomplished. I appreciate everyone's input and help along the way!

Next time I'll follow my gut.

As a separate question aren't drying and curing two separate processes? Whether one were to choose quick dry, tent, low and slow, or the storage jars with boveda packs, the bud still needs to be aged, correct? Maybe I'm confused.

Interesting topic anyways.

Yes. My inexperience made me jump conclusions before allowing a proper cure.

The crew made me realize that I didn't screw up as bad as I thought with the quick dry. She's curing wonderfully now, buds don't feel dry or look petrified. The humidty packs helped hydrate the buds. The smell has become more pronounced, less veggie.

Smells like fruity cookies. .

I burped the jars just now, Mmmm. .

We also smoked some more of her from the 420 jar. Taste is definitely improving, reminds me of GSC when inhaled, with a slight veggie apple taste on exhale. I'm really liking it so far, not just because I'm biased. Lol If she tasted like crap, I'd share so I can learn what not to do again. .

I can't wait to see what she tastes like in 2 weeks! Some jars will remain curing for months. .

The high is balanced, hits us around the eyes (reminds me of Headband) at first, makes me silly, with a thought provoking vibe, then the body high hits. Makes us very relaxed, sleepy within an hour.

I'm so glad I kept 2 clones, PW knew I should!

Definitely worth keeping one or two of that girl going u great with her are u adding in any new strains on ur next grow or sticking with this 1 either way u knocked it out the park oh yea with my flux girl im doing im letting her go vertical now so hopefully she makes some nice fat colas in the end wish me luck lol
