Remember, I'm using the Dwarf Star in a small 2x2.5 @ 20-22", 18" from tallest cola. Very intense, thus the added CalMag. .

Can too much CalMag create problems like other nutes or is it just expensive to overuse?

Too much of anything isn't good, excesses can cause other nutrients to be locked out.

Agreed.

I was going to add 8-10mL per gallon anyway, but only had 2.5 gallons. Which is how I got to 20mL, instead of 24-30mL.

I'm sure she'll be fine. She definitely showed calmag deficiency @ 8mL per gallon during last res change.

I'm adapting to my environment.

It all varies....

Thats still roughly 3-4ml per gallon

I should have mentioned I'm in coco as well with that amount of feed.

Do you have any more room to raise your light Vex? I like to keep mine at least 20", when I let mine grow closer I had the Cal-mag issue even in soil. Its pretty much fixed itself with 2 waterings with Cal-Mag and raising the lights up higher.

Yeah definitely want to increase your cal-mag. I didn't have to use it at all in my last grow, but I didn't run into the height issues I did in this grow. I will continue to use a little bit in my waterings since I have it and plants seem to be responding well to it. I hope my girls stop stretching soon...I dont have much more room to raise the lights (already had to get creative in order to get myself an extra 7 or 8 inches of space.

There are 3 way shorter arms in the center, I didn't string them up. I'm hoping the light penetrates enough to help them blossom.

I'm thinking of keeping 2 of the shortest after harvest and reveg. .
