Vetsmoke's Micro Growing Shenanigans

Hey,Vet-
If you remove the 4 in-facing leaves, you'll get more branching action, might end up with 12 colas instead of 4....just a thought. (that's how I do it)

Cheers mate I'll give it a go. Haven't got much to lose trying

Had a little peek in the cabinet this morning and it looks like the seed I rage planted is starting to break the surface. Then thinking with a clear head I thought, oh bugger now I won't be able to use the cabinet to dry the first one when it comes to harvest. I've decommissioned the drying tent I built so will have two options. Recommision the drying tent or potentially do a little experiment by letting one plant mature longer and the other harvest early to see the difference. Plenty of time to think about it thankfully. Just have to remember these things next time I decide to throw another plant in the mix:rofl:

I vote for maturity. I like my women mature and healty.
Yeah I had read to let CBD plants go longer but then I read on a thread here to harvest them earlier. So might actually be a good opportunity to test that out and use the cabinet for drying.

@Jayjayloi Yeah maybe. Also I damaged some roots transplanting her. I probably will top the new one too. I didn't top the northern lights I did in one of those pots and she got really tall. Had to supercrop her. My first grow I just used LST and got good results but I prefer the shape I can create with topping.

Decisions, decisions what to do? I know fire one up and thinks about ti for a while. :passitleft:
Think I'll see how they're looking closer to the time. Little one has popped up now but struggling a bit to get the seed casing off her head. May have to give her a hand tonight. At first glance the little stem looks thicker than the last one so that may be a good sign.

So here's little shorty today. Looking happy enough and grown outwards some more. Just had plain mineral water as I feel like the soil and the last foliar feed is giving her enough right now. Bro-science .

Her baby sister has popped up and was struggling getting the casing off. I've helped a bit and hope overnight she manages to open up. This one I added more perlite, no worm castings, didn't pre water the soil and have been misting the surface. See how she goes.

Still struggling to keep the temp below 30C so I think this weekend I will try to mount the driver on the back of the cabinet and see if that helps at all. Hope you're all having a great week.

Managed to get the LED driver mounted onto the back of the cabinet tonight. That's allowed me to raise the board a few more cm and the temp appears to be sitting at 28C now. So far so good. Increased the intensity slightly too.

Good move Vet! :thumb:
Should've done it ages ago really but it was just one of those jobs that always got pushed to the bottom of the list. This morning the temp is steady at 28.5C which I'm sure the ladies will be happier about. Still on the high end of the scale but manageable.
