Vetsmoke85 Grows With A Trio Of Sponsors

To top things off I've had the landlady call today. All very nice and polite but they want to get a valuer ìn and viewings asap. I was hoping to hold them off until the end of October to get this run finished. That's not looking likely now. Need to double check the contract and all my rights tomorrow but it's looking like these will have to be culled soon.

I'm absolutely gutted. Especially with this being a sponsored grow but I just didn't foresee this happening. Either way, once we're settled into a new place I'll have another grow going straight away. I can only apologise to the great sponsors @Mars Hydro @Weed Seeds Express and @Prescription Blend. I'll knock another grow out for you as soon as I can.

Ahh man, I feel for you brother. I had hoped your situation would end differently then mine did. In the long run, play the safe game.
I hope you can find something soon and leave asap. The sooner your in a new place, the quicker this tension you feel will subside.

You guys have MPs that can help or some such? Often they're great resources around here for info on your rights.

A quick look online shows legally I can refuse them access but I need to double check what our tenancy agreement states. They have to give us a minimum of 24hrs notice to conduct an inspection but even then we can refuse access. It's illegal for them to enter the property without our consent. So I may be able to hold them off until the end of October. Personally I would say giving them access from then until our tenancy ends on 31st Dec is reasonable but I'll speak to some people tomorrow and make sure.

@VetSmoke85 Hope you get settled in a new place soon and don’t worry about having to end the journal early. Life happens and I’m sure you will get growing again when your able to.

Definitely check your paperwork, I know in my area the owner can give 24hr notice for repairs etc. but can’t require entry for buyer viewing.

Thanks mate. When we get in a new house the first thing I'll be unpacking is the grow kits. It's looking like it's the same deal here.

Yeah I'll ring them and probably Shelter too. They're all clued up on rights etc.

This strain is supposed to be 10-12 weeks and they'll be 10 weeks old on the 19th October. So if I can hold them off until the end of Oct I might just get them finished and dried to get the tents packed away. I won't cut them down just yet but need to be cautious.

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that I can get these to the finish line.

Just as u seem to b getting that scrog net sorted out

Thanks all. The agents managing the sale called today and asked when they could come and do the valuation. Wish I could've seen his face when I said 1st November. Lol. He then started bleating about how the landlady wants to get it all started ASAP and how they'd do it in a way as to disturb us the least amount. I reminded him of my rights as a tenant and just because the landlady has her own agenda and timeline that does not remove my rights and I can legally refuse entry to anyone until I decide I want to let them in. He wasn't impressed and said he'd go running back to the landlady to dob me in. I said I'd give him a call back in a few days. I think hassling us 4 months away from our out date is unreasonable and me giving them access from 1st Nov is perfectly reasonable. Give us some time to sort our own stuff out before we have all the viewings and such to deal with too. I've emailed our agents too detailing all this and am awaiting a reply. Hopefully they will side with me since the landlady has chosen a different agency to sell the property.

That sounds perfectly acceptable to me. November's not far away so they should be happy to have a confirmed date.
Hope it goes well from here, Vet.

Get a lawyer to write em a letter,,so it's all above board,,
That should put the shits up her

Fingers crossed we can come to an agreement. My spidey sense says she will be a bitch about it but legally they have no leg to stand on. The cards are in my hands. She'll prob try to keep all the deposit money when we leave to get back at us but in my experience most landlords around here do that anyway. Bill you for the most ridiculous things like a tiny scratch on the cooker hob. Well yeah we've been using it for 4 years you tool. Lol.

Stick to your guns. I'm sure the landlady wants to sell asap but that's not your problem

humm, My thinking is, if you have been cool since moving in, and now all of a sudden your being a jerk to letting her enter the home, will grow suspicion of some sort of Hidden operations in her dwelling. TO be honest, id bit the rope on this one and bag things up and let her get on with her business, but thats just me. Im karma driven, LOL..
