Vetsmoke85 First Grow Stealth Cabinet

get it in position and duck tape it asap, if you need to tie itnfrom above to hold it up do so, i am a master of snap and tape now.
do it early it should be ok!!! fingers x

if not and it has to go can it be salvaged to dry and smoke lol

shr luck man just when the exciting boards arrived!!

looking good in there with them now tho ay, the qbs are wicked
Yeah problem is I only had a couple of minutes to try and do something this morning before leaving for work, so I used a twist tie I had close by to pull the branch back in position and close up the wound. Work 12 hour shifts so won't be home until after 7pm tonight now to do anything else. I could probably dry and smoke it but probably won't do much. Lol. Fingers and toes crossed that at least if the branch doesn't recover it doesn't effect the rest of the plant too much. Yeah they are awesome. Temps and rh stayed in the right range overnight so there's something positive.

fingers crossed then
not sure if you saw the hiccup mine had on my last day of holiday, hadnt been watered two days, one of the gas dropped and snapped a couple of limbs, and one got caugt on the fan, had to chop the whole branch off back to stem lol dont think it noticed.. these plants are mad

will keep my fingers X for your girl

Nightmare! I'll swing by and take a look in a bit. Yeah they are pretty incredible plants in more ways than one. I've never grown anything before so don't really have any reference to compare but the fact I've got them this far tells me they're resilient. Looking forward to implementing everything I've learned so far to the next grow. Especially as I now have the cabinet setup better.

So just had a good look at #1 and she's taken it like a champ so far. If anything that cola has grown. Looks like it's healing already. Struggled to get any tape wrapped around because of where it is and how tight everything is in there. Feels pretty secure though. I'm amazed as it was barely hanging on this morning.
The damaged branch. Rubbish blurry photo. Focus went on the little branch in front.

Damn, those things have gone apeshit since my last look-great work,Vet!

Hey ,when you break a branch,as long as the outer "coating" of the branch isn't broken all the way around it,they'll generally heal just fine-I think the outer layer is called the phloem, and that's what moves nutes & sugars around the plant-as long as there's a good portion of it remaining unbroken, the branch will heal, sometimes doing even better than it was before the break-

Thanks buddy. They're really coming on now. 7 weeks old today. I was wondering what that outer layer was called. It was hanging from a small bit of that on the bottom. Looks like it's sealing up around it already though. Crazy. Hope it's not temporary.

I'm sure it'll be fine-if it's not all droopy and dead looking by now, you're good to go...

Few pics from today. #2 is so pale now.

Veg tent build is on. Shoe rack cost me £10 and I had the mylar sheeting, cardboard and tape. Winner. Just got to get the filter and lights fitted next weekend. Which I've got spare now.

Only problem is I forgot that the wardrobe it's getting tucked away in has a dividing support rail so now I can't get it in. Ha ha. Will have to remove that rail and support the wardrobe as I quickly slide it in. DOH!
