A quick look at the Super Critical

Thats a lot of green in that tent! :thumb: If it were mine, Id give the one with the yellowing leaves a smidgn of N. Different plants have different needs, and that one looks like it needs a kick in the ass. Maybe something subtle like Alaska Fish Emulsion. Cheap and natural. Lately I have been having luck with rotating my feed..salts one feed, then fish, then a flush. Its the first grow Ive had where everything has stayed mostly green.

#Update Eleven - Day Fifty One

I have given them 4 grams of charge with 1ml of cal mag and they look better for it. The Super Critical leaves are turning purple which i was not expecting and looks really cool. They are all doing really well now that i am spending more time with them. I had to bend the Super Lemon Haze's stems because it was just to big and the buds were not growing right. Since i have done this there has been a massive improvement in the top buds but it is now all over the place, it is a good job it is the last to finish.

According to the breeder information, the Super Critical should take seven weeks, it is past that day and looks no where near ready. However, in the last 6 days there has been a big improvement. I have a 30x magnifier so i can check the trichs, i am only pulling them when they are ready and these are all going to hit the 60 day mark. I want the buds to grow fat and none of them look in that position.

#Update Eleven - Day Fifty One

We have definitely entered the harvest window, i took a rubbish bud off the Super Critical and dried it in the oven at 50 degrees and smoked it. It was pretty decent but didn't last longer than half an hour, not bad for a rubbish bud. I looked at the trichomes and felt that the plant was done. I decided to give the Super Critical and Pineapple Express a little longer and closely watching them change over the 48 hours since has made me realise they were not ready.

I gave them all 2 grams of charge, 1 ml of CalMag and 1 ml of something called Boost after i picked the bud. I can definitely notice a difference in them since. I have provided a picture of Pineapple Express trichomes but they are difficult to take; it was taken 48 hours ago. The next update will most likely include a harvest picture of the Super Critical. The Green Crack is not quite there and the Super Lemon has at least another week to go minimum.

Last night, the trichomes on the Super Critical were swollen and milky. I have watched them closely since last Saturday and i have no doubt that this plant was ready for harvest because a low percentage of them had turned amber, so i harvested her. Some of the growth at the bottom was still alive and not ready so i did not harvest it in the hope that it grows some more.

The breeder information said that this plant would be ready around Day 49 and she made it to Day 57. Can't wait until she is dry so i can see what my dry yield is and have a nice smoke

Thanks Fuzznutter. The left over Super Critical is growing nicely as well, so there is more where that come from haha. I am yet to try it out, i am going to wait until it is properly dry. The rest of them are not ready yet.

Hope all is well in your world.
