Velk's 2nd Grow Journal - Mephisto Metropolis - Coco - LED

At what strength would you recomend ? As been told to just flush with phed water then rais to around 6.2 were the mg is most available I was under the impression mg sweet spot was 5.8?

Flushing with straight water is only for soil and for final flush before harvest my man. Coco is a different animal. I never water with pure water. You can do 1/4 strength if you want for flush then water at back to normal strength. When you flush with plain water you are washing out the nutrient salts. In soil the amendments don't just wash out with water or not as easily. In coco when you flush with feed it replaces the salts and shouldn't be a shock for your plants. Cal and mag is usable just below 6 so that's why 5.8 is recommended. I would stick to 5.8 or 6.0 and not fluctuate too much.

For me if I do a flush I use the strength I've been using unless I have over feed or under feed. If I have over or under feed I adjust accordingly

Thanks for clearing that up as I've been flushing asif was soil coco as I've learned is a lot more work and harder to take but I really like it I will try soil in future so I don't have to water on a daily basis as my physical problems are at a peak level atm but I'll manage I'll do a bit more studying today I think thanks again bf ...

Ill tag along on this one too mate,
Love the twin 300's in the veg tent, iv been trying to see how this would work but know you can test it for me! stoked!
Ill be looking at grabbing a single or dbl 300 rig for my veg tent. until then CFL all the way haha.

Thanks bf it's been murders I couldn't even water the other lot were I've been so weak lucky I have them a heavy watering for flush they smell so sweet I understand the name blue treacle smells like candy canes sugar and syrup

More I love the alien genetics so glad Mephisto made an auto of it one is small and one is big and been told you either get a big plant or tiny with Mephisto but hopefully they bare nice fruit in the end ..

A little update in the Mephisto garden the little lady's have had a visit from there big sister one of the blue treacles to join them they have all got more nodes now and have been put to 20/4 light schedule from 247 light been feeding them with light dosages of rhizotonic and canna start in about another week they will be changed from the canna start to canna a&b they are all looking happy the gsc looks really good as. Does the sour blues

They have been moved in to the big tent and there home is being used to dry the others so they have got much better light now
