Not much of an update; everything seems to keep going steady, hit them with the feeding and the foliar using willow tree solution. Same marks kinda scattered all over I wouldn’t say it’s out of control but still there. So weird these plants show some issues and the clones not a thing.

Looking like she is coming around to it, a little more every week. Still long ways from buds but it’s a start. Nice and green no issues with this one.
Looking good this morning, good luck with the willow.👍

Are you going to be able to cover them for frost?
I’m negotiating a space either in my friend greenhouse or finish 2 indoors at his place as well with 1000watts MH and HPS old school setup.

I’m leaning more for the greenhouse finish. I have to wait for his plants to finish, possibly mid October. Fingers crossed

Hi @danishoes21 !
Azi said you have an interesting grow going on over here.
May I please join your party??
I am super slammed for time (and can't even keep up on my own thread! hahaha), but he thought I might could learn some things.
Is it ok if I just hang out, read, and get stoned?
Haha, hopefully I can catch up on the thread some day!
I hope your grows are going well!

Any time is a good time to jump in, information is all scattered around, there is lots.
Azi is a good partner for natural fertilizer and farming techniques we been feeding of each other and currently we trying to get conclusive results on late flower PM and bud rot.
I’d be down to check your grow too, I’m pretty behind this week on all the journals but I always have time for smoking and reading.

Happy growing bud

WYA? I need to know what happened with the willow? I hoping that it worked for ya. Good Luck! CL🍀

Been spraying On my plants once a week, and on the tree leaf every day.

This bottom one is once a week,

I will have some pictures of the cannabis later this week.

You can see clearly where I have sprayed and where not.

The Clones
Well guys/gals here is the update on the clones. I wanted to start by pointing out several key environmental factors these phenos have been dealing with;

-dry period between water/feed/foliar of about 5-6 straight days, can we call that a drought effect. No rain at all around the area and that’s a great thing (not globally but only for the cannabis).
-several phenos are in small pots, so definitely root bound stress.
-low temperature at night.
-actively been sprayed with microbial solutions on a weekly basis.
-some are in the ground so no root bound but slower pace at flowering. Different PH for soil and different minerals.

All these factors are shaping each pheno, they all come from the same Genotype mom but as you can see environmental factors do change the look of the plant remarkably.

Noticiable difference between the personal Sativa clones still in pots (flowering I would say faster, as per count of pistils at the apical bud), than the clone in the ground, two of them have Xmas tree shape structure rather than that 1 big cola sticking up (the ones in the pots). Different green Colors, slightly different node spacing, and different nutrient deficiencies.

The difference is more noticeable with the Xenomoprh (Durban poison), the ones on the ground are healthier and greener, bigger buds… the one in the pot is considerably smaller, more pale, showing more deficiencies but buds seem some what advanced in ripeness, less pistils at the apical bud than the counterpart in the ground.

I’m just noticing many many traits, some I love others not so much. They are all showing no signs of mold, PM, bud rot. Ones in pots more deficiencies but I’m not worried, they gotta deal with it they have a bigger purpose than a nice bud.

I went today with only anaerobic mother tea seaweed/fern/yellowyarrow for root watering and the odd ball with the foliar willow tree 200ml so upped the dose, mix with the tea to top up (20% willow solution 80% mother tea). Sprayed well from soil to tip, not missing stems like the whole perimeter.
Surprisingly the tea doesn’t smell fetid, it does have some what of a astringent smell, more since the yarrow was added.

I’m freaking stoked here.

Thanks Captain,

Yeah I gotta say they even look better than the moms.

I’m really impressed they can hold almost a week with one water/feed. Like they have some really harsh setting but still thriving. I’m really looking forward to having seeds from them the Durban clone is such an early finisher it would go great with the terribly long flowering of the other Sativa I got there. Hopefully that goes thru

And here is the male, he is doing great.

What are your plans for the male, just going to let him go to town or going to isolate and collect pollen for more isolated pollination?

Plans… I don’t really think I can plan much, I will collect pollen for potential selective pollination with the moms, but for the clones its gonna be hard to plan something so I’m going with natures plan. The pollen sacs are gonna pop some time this week.

Question for y’all; how long can pollen be stored and still be viable ? What’s the recommendations for pollen storage ?

Thanks a bunch

Hey Bill

Trying my best to supply something for them, I got them with food and water but no shelter for them, they are on their own.

Yeah a fair amount, yesterday when I was there plants were rocking side to side. They do have lots of trees around so it offers somewhat of a buffer zone.
Air is good.
Some spots are low and damp.
A steady breeze is perfect.

Stay safe
