Morning walk thru;

Malawi/Haze doing fine, added the light to her every morning 7am I manually switch the light. I walk through the garden beds check all veggies, water stuff, foliar feed… and then I get to the cannabis.

When people grow and talk about Auto flows it’s almost like they not to be touched, stressed or fool around with because they get stunt and don’t grow… I had a misconception of Auto flows because I like to stress my plants, I like to train hard and I for sure like to feed them millions of microbes. After all they are just plants like every other one on the planet… so I train my Autos;

Canopy levelled, that is what I look for; equal distribution of phytohormones aka plant growth hormones. Enhancing the production of plant hormones done naturally with out any artificial spray or bottled food, just good old fingers to pinch/bend and understanding of plant biology. No secrets only high stress training and a vegetarian diet aka green manure.
I have now 7 apical dominant branches that will become apical bud sites, all done on an auto while preflowering. She doesn’t stop growing so the amount of stress given isn’t harsh enough to stop the plant from growing.
I didn’t even like this pheno at the beginning and things just changed…

Same plant beginning of May, one month difference is huge!
That’s really impressive bro I’m not sure what yer doing in particular that’s allowing you to be able to stress n auto not to stunt. Maybe it’s a combination of everything? Pretty cool though, respect ✊. CL🍀

I should do that in the name of SIP. I’m blaming only me for this one as I went sideways with design. I might be able to clone this Auto just in time to do a proper SIP. Give or take she was a nice looking pheno.
Yeah but, hey, that's how we learn. And also how new discoveries and tweaks are found. Also, could be something else totally unrelated to your pot. Need more at bats with consistent results (good  or bad) to better determine the issue.

I hear ya Azi.

It’s fun to learn, not so fun when the plant doesn’t grow par. Good lesson. I been thinking of the reservoir water and the ph… it’s the same water as she started; also been thinking I should take that liquid out and put fresh liquid at a lower volume like half of the reservoir. I might do that small change to see. The reservoir has my mother tea in it, that could be a slight too much nutrients??? I’m thinking hard to find the weak link.

Check 'em off one at a time. That plant will likely never catch up so might as well use it as an experiment and see what you can learn. Maybe swap out the reservoir water for a fresh batch first?

changed the water in the reservoir, added half of the bucket, more air less water… saw a root peaking so they are looking for something. I think they had wet feet, hopefully now they have a space to figure it out.
I would think more air less water would lead to more of a chance at air pruning, but maybe if there is a decent seal between the two containers it becomes more of an aeroponic environment which is the best of all worlds.

Cool experiment, Dani. :thumb:

Morning walk, now added a few more steps to get to the outdoors location.

Several days now since I placed the phenos in their layered soil in the middle of the woods, they took it very well. I done training and every time I come back they are up. Healthy looking and strong, the location has enough Airflow that they have movement but the slight slope protects from the heavy winds we occasionally have. Overcast today yet enough light is getting in. Watered and foliar with same mother tea, 2 pathways for nutrient intake roots and stomata. Haven’t had to use neem or any cal/mag supplement and still haven’t started my Willow tea regimen. Life is good in this environment.

On the Autos;

The one that’s funky is getting better, the curly leaf pattern seems to go on and off, still thinking on what is that is making her give out that sign. I lower the amount of water in the reservoir and have been foliar feeding. She also doesn’t like the training too much, the pheno has changed quite a lot since the start.

She is got a bright green, and waxy looking leaf, not glossy like the other one.

She taking it like a champ, bounces right up. The pheno ain’t bad at all I like the structure, smell is pretty good too. She ain’t flowering yet.

This one Auto is starting to impress, took a while to get her good, not impressive with the genetics but hey still smokes and she takes the training like a warrior.
Canopy levelled and many good branches strong ready for buds. The main top is really hitting the pistil action. She is regularly trained sometimes twice a day, watered and foliar every day.

She smells like skunk and looks like skunk hybrid.

And last but not least my two number 1 phenos still waiting for a pot to call home. Maybe today I will get to it. They both look incredible.

New and exciting arrival, mycelium for Wine caps. A new spin to my garden and for my cannabis plants.
2387F7CE-4403-471E-8D59-F6E77489F158.jpeg

2 5lbs bags of substrate with well developed mycelium, directions are simple top dress or burry 3 inches deep in soil or garden bed. Crumble the whole block and spread over the grow area. This should activate a full mycelium network and hopefully pop a fruiting body at peak of ideal conditions. Once you successfully spread the mycelium it will grow every year, given that one doesn’t till or disturbed the soil.

Let’s go Mushrooms

I think you’re going to have some very fertile soil my brother. I like what you’re prepping with. CL🍀
