Nice work, Danish. :thumb:

The official recommendation is to dilute the extract at least 1:20, or at most a 5% concentration, for application in a soil drench as this stuff can be pretty potent. Hopefully you'll get a good rain event to help dilute it a bit more around the roots.

Thanks Azi,

I wish everything would have stayed the same, I could’ve had some more consistent results on the use of microbes. Like I mentioned in your bud rot thread I had a 3 times a week schedule where I was foliar and watering using the extracts. At least for the Veg time I had no issues at all with any pest or illness.

On the dilution, I might have done 1ltr to 22 ltr of water, counting that the organic matter could be taking more space than I think. On the organoleptic properties of the second batch; smell was not as strong or fetid, it had considerably more bubbles once I opened, Color was less opaque. I inferred the second batch was less potent. I will be starting a new batch the next few days.

Thanks for stopping by.

I will be interested in your observations on potency of the various mixes. And, I offered the official version to make sure you were at least aware of it. That said, I use my KNF extracts at a rate of 1:750 where the official recommendation is at least 1:1000, so I've been known to use them heavy as well with no negative effect,

And both versions get stronger with time so you can use less of a concentration for older product. I've got some going on more than two years now and works as well or better than when it was fresh.

I will be adding comments about the effects. I’m planning a visit tomorrow to the site, 2 days after the drench with the microbe solution.

On the other hand since the beginning of the grow I have been using only these types of feeding/water schedules with only 2 times added granular fertilizer. My next grow it will be 100% microbes, I would hardly use any granular fertilizer (my goal is absolute self sufficiency on fertilizer).

The only time I worry about it being to “hot” is when there is livestock manure in the mix, high nitrogen always burns a bit.

Setup is ready for tomorrow.
My faith is set on 30 gal containers, upgraded the soil with 4 bags of compost and manure.

10 gals of seaweed tea in the jerrycan.

Well I have successfully removed 4 of the 5 remaining phenos.

I decided to leave “as a gift” the Sweet Zombie. I took Chunky Skunk, Xenomorph, Personal Sat and Duterte’s nightmare. I have faith they will stick and flower properly.
30 gals pots and a new home at new location, not in the woods so easy access and the property owner is a fellow grower and friend.

The operation came as a surprise to the problematic person I was dealing with and I’m glad I took the plants. Live and learn. He didn’t have a clue what was coming… today was the arranged visit I only have one visit a week... LOL, I was waiting for this day to take my plants all my work, since last time I was basically kicked out. Ohhh boy he was not stoked when he saw me and my helper (250lb brother) putting shovels in the dirt and loading huge pots with all the plants. He couldn’t handle shit and left the scene without a word. Took us a hour to dig out, repot and load the truck.
I was nice enough to cover the huge holes with some nice soil so it wouldnt look that bad.

The plants will spend the night inside the truck bed and tomorrow off to new environment. I waited for Sunset to dig out this way I wouldnt mess to much with their dark cycle.

The overall look was ok, lots of health still in them but a week and a half with out training the plants got wild, hard to handle now. They had been neglected since August 1st. Buddy there had no freaking clue what he was doing...
I feel way better now, to regain control over my months of work ment the most for me. I lost some branches on the way and I still have lots of work to get them thru this massive stress but I got this and will continue in the weeks to come.

Anyways some pictures while still in the ground.

Great job, D!

But why did you leave one behind? If he had such an issue with the plants, seems like they'd all be better off in your care than his.

Glad to hear you found a better location than off in the bush somewhere. They'll be easier to attend to and attract less unwanted attention from muggles.

Thanks Bill,

They held their ground and I’m happy. Think 30 gals pots is enough for these plants? Hopefully today I get to set them in a good spot and they can recover fast.

They seemed still transitioning from veg to flower…
Heavy pots man, I hope I don’t have to move them again…

Have a great day 😀

Well turns out he “wasn’t worried about” these plants… LOL how can someone be so full of it?

He said I never had a problem with these ones, I had nothing to say; I just went straight to work. He just looked confused and not happy, he knew that moment he maid a terrible misjudgment of my character and commitment.

“that’s gonna be a lot of work digging those up, bla bla bla” he said while he returned to his house to lock himself away. The whole scene was out of a movie.

I left him the one I liked the least indica dominant pheno (even more funny he does not like indicas instant karma).
4 plants is a magic number. When I called my friend about the favour to place the plants there, saying it’s only 4 put me right there at “allowed” status.

After 2 days in the truck, yesterday I was able to release the girls.

My grower friend was kind enough to let me flower them, hes got a lot going on, his side (25 plants) so adding 4 wasnt going to change shit for him. I like his style, old school mindset. Who ever grew during prohibition has that mindset, we just dont care, grow until you feel comfortable.

Buddy looked at my plants and he laugh; "you said they were 3 ft tall, lol they are 6 ft tall (including the pot). What are you doing flowering "mothers" LOL."
I told my friend he didnt need to worry about cross pollination my girls are confirmed girls. Thats a real fear when you bring outside plants to a growers place, you gotta have the certainty they wont spoil the harvest.

In all fairness once in the pots they look soooo freaking huge, they look like mother plants. We had already discussed this plan back in Spring, he always was my back up plan and Im glad I had a back up plan. The location is not bad, nice and flat, is shaded but good, we need less light to kinda forced them to go faster. No weeds or anything aorund, like the spot is good, way better than in the bush, that would have been a shit show...
They are well out of the way from his show so Im happy about that. He grows texada timewrap every year at least 2-3 phenos his shit is on point and mostly organic.

Observations.

So the plants have been shocked for the past 48 hours, also being in the truck forced darkness upon them so Im hoping that dark time will trigger a flower signal like a very strong signal and they start budding.
48 hours of darkness should shift so many hormones, besides them being ripped from the ground, moved around and I dumped 23 lts of seaweed tea on all 4.

The overall look of the plants, like nothing happend. I have high high hopes, I didnt see any signs of problems. Im freaking happy, but my back hurts and my legs. Each pot is at least 60 kilos.

Well done Dan! Whew! Good friend you have there! Makes up for the lemon! Hope they continue for you!

It’s been a little extra challenge but I ain’t quitting.

Yeah buddy John is a true friend. I knew he was growing and I felt shy to ask him, I didn’t want to take his space. But that’s what a backup spot is for, when everything goes to the shit bring them to the safe spot.

We know each other for years and we are familiar with each other’s work.
Once he saw the plants he said; dude that’s heavy I got a wheelbarrow for ya, but I ain’t breaking my back (he is 63).

Shits and giggles.
Life’s good.

Hope you are having a good one :peace:

Thanks TC, it’s been a ride. I’m still ridding it.
I gotta wait to see how the plants are going to react, probably take a week or two to show if there’s some damage.

I won’t get to see them every other day because the drive is 50km away, to much gas money.

Damn what a job... well at least that's better for you than my place, I'm farther than 50km about 250 I think, and a slow 250 at that. I have a sig. longer season down here, however as we are in a significant rainshadow and receive much last than the lower mainland or rest of Island. Still a fuck-ton, mind you, but merely a single fuck-ton. This coast is all about micro-climates.

The last pics of them in the ground made me weak at the knees... so beautiful. No kidding. I could tell you'd been around a bit less, but D, they still looked so vital. Now, getting those beauties to harvest is going to be a chore, only ten weeks puts us at the hard-stop end of the season. I hope you took a few nice cuttings and can root them at home with you, prop and veg over winter indoors under some CFLs or w.H.y. Hope buddy is into swapping a cutting or two for you also, because Timewarp may be an oldie, but it's a (very) goody. Texada has different geography than any of the Gulf or Discovery Islands. It is the peak of a sunken and flooded mountain of the coast range and has both unique soil properties and individual micro-climate. Its peak is quite high and in flowering season, when fog is often an issue (on the water we crusty-types always call it Fogust), Texada's elevation often means its peak is above this fog layer and receiving ultimate sunshine. It also has some highly mineralized, ancient, volcanic ash-based soils up there that are quite special. I ran down there multiple times in my old salmon troller to fill the holds with soils, with gifts for and permission from the locals of course. Tribute must be paid!

Well done my friend, and remember, I'm here to help if you need me.
