Rust spots can often be a building calcium deficiency. S. Nettle and horsetail fern are both high in that input if you're looking for a plant based idea.

Im hoping to see a positive result from the feeding some of the products I used have trace of Calcium. I will be preparing a specific horsetail/nettle concoction this week (I have both weeds in dry powder from prevoius harvest). :hippy:

After the feeding update, incredibly sunny 2 days in a row thats awesome. Didnt do much besides looking for unwated guests, look at the fan leaves for signs of stress of something. They all seem to be doing good. Didnt water or anything Im gonna let then dry a little more.

She seems to have taken the feeding ok, still see some rust spot but in certain leaves. Some lower fan leaf yellow and falling. The top of the plant looks pretty stable and happy.
IMG_3790.jpg

This is the same branch we have been looking at for days now. She has completly recovered and regained apical dominance, but the rest of the shoots are coming up. This branch has now a junction everything in between should grow and catch up.
IMG_3791.jpg

The rest of the other branches trained the same way.

Dont even wanna imagine once she starts strecthing for flower at least another ft upward.

Side by side Apical dominant branch and a side branch from a lower node all same height and girth.

Canopy seems to be even give or take, some partsd are catching up.

Under the plant.

Me holding the "apical dominant top" but not for long, many others catching up and ready to grow.

Started the day with a proper feeding, the macro nutrients here are probably needing a boost for all the plants, specially the ones in the pots. This is what I used to prepare the soil so far has showed good results, all stuff I found in the local nursery.

IMG_3735.jpg

The portion of the feeding Worm casting and biochar black, bone meal brown NPK 4-13-13 , slow release organic fertilizer NPK 4-3-9, beige powder glacial rock dust Mag-0.9% iron-3% Manganese 0.05%. All diluted with seaweed tea and watered everything. And includes the rows of tomatos, and many other veggies.

Hey, it’s our friends the clones again! Great to see them, forgot about those little guys. I thought your cloning run went quite well. I’m keen to discuss a cloning strategy for my indoor organic SIPs for anyone with ideas. I’m also wondering if you know of good breeders who freely disclose how their seed plants were grown. Am looking for hydro seeds for hydro grows, organic seeds for organic grows, dunno if that’s a thing yet but it’s a real plus if possible. PS, Let me know if your ever in town! Plants look great. I have rust down here this year - first time in memory, esp on my new comfrey transplants from nearby park. Also exceptional slug pressure. Oh well, everybody’s gotta eat. Woulda made something for them special if I knew they were coming…

There is a little slug having fun but not to much has been taken from the plant. I've stepped on the area around the pot. I dont wanna disturb too much.

This is soooooo close to the plant. But its part of whats happening around this area of the garden. If I focus on having the cannabis plant healthy maybe there is a chance nothing bad happens.

In my mind I always call that one in the barrel, “Duterte’s Nightmare” because F@&$ that guy. It must survive at all costs! What are those black pustules? Nasty! Can you move the barrel, push comes to shove?

I’ve been using the calcium-rich water soluble foliar spray/amendment to excellent effect when I had calcium def. In my container tomatoes and squash this year. I browned a cup of crushed eggshells in an iron skillet then dropped into 750ml vinager for a week enrol reaction stopped. Mixed 750:1 with some soap for surfactant. Stopped it in its tracks and I’ve used in SIP reservoirs now because calcium deficiency in weed just gets you behind the eight ball and I hate that. The stuff when mixed 50% with pure 0ppm water reads 3500ppm! That’s a lot of calcium. Obv. it lowers ph of the water used. I spray at 750:1 for two days in a row. Charred bones work if no eggshells avail and they have bonus phosphorus levels over eggshells, however I have no personal experience with that mod. My best to you and yours D., and…
Nothing but love, RD.

Well said RD. Notes taken and actions will start happening, I gotta make a big omellet and crush some eggshells. I might mix both horsetail/nettle/eggshells.

Thanks for stopping by.

I can name her Duterte’s Nightmare to make it more official, Xenomorph seems to be doing great after you named her.

"Mauve as a medicinal plant

The mallow it is a biennial herbaceous and perennial plant up to 1.5 m tall. Its stem is very hairy and woody. The root is fusiform. Flowers are pink or purple with darker purple veins. The fruit, which is disc-shaped, decomposes after ripening.

Flowers and leaves. Large young leaves that are not infected by the rust fungus (a common ailment for this plant) can be used in herbal medicine and as food."

Im assuming thats rust that we see on that plant. And no I cant move the barrel (its too heavy) its part of the experiment.

Best not not to mix organic material with the eggshells when making WCA (Water Soluble Calcium). In fact you even want to get rid of the shell membrane when making it so it doesn't rot in storage.
