Van Stank's Nukehead Sponsored Grow

That node stacking is impressive to say the least. :thumb:

Thanks Overlord. If you look at the shot that shows the whole plant, you can see where I stopped Leaf Tip spreading (I honestly felt it was stacking too tightly). You can see the node spacing increase....so any doubt as to the benefits of doing it a few times a day, the proof is in the pictures.

Damn Van.......looks like fishbones to me

Great job brother

Thanks Arctic....I thought so too!! Kind of cool looking....hope to see it more as the side branching gets taller.

Nice observation!!

Yep, definitely spot on!

Nukehead Veg Day 40 Update

Pardon the poor pictures today. I didn't have the macro lens on the camera and I just wanted to see what the normal lens produced vs the Macro lens.

I am about 5 days away from up-potting Nukehead #2. I will hold off on Nukehead #1 for a little while after that. Speaking of #1, she is finally starting to recover from her toppings a few days ago and throwing out some new growth. I will give her another day or two and I will trim off some of the larger fan leaves.

Not going to do anything with #2 other than continuing to try and get the side branching to pop out of there. Seems weird to just be letting it grow naturally with no training. Makes easy work I suppose.

Feed #2 with about 32 ounces of ACT that I brewed last night. Will be feeding #1 the same thing tonight before lights out. Aside from that....nothing really to report. Seems like things are rolling along smoothly.

The taller one should be a beast in flower.

Yeah I hope so....I am hoping all those lower side branches are going produce. I still have to take two clones from her before long.

Looking strong! My nuke didn’t branch out much at all. I got a couple clones, if it smokes good I’m going to top and train them much harder then the mother. It’s starting to smell very piney.

I definitely get two different smells from #1 and #2. Nukehead #2 smells great....but I can't really place the scent yet. Surprised to hear yours didn't branch out much.

Well it did branch out, just a lot slower and smaller then the other strains in the same tent. I think it’s just a slow grower like your #1. It’s about 3 weeks into flower and looks and smells good though.
Got any pictures of her?

Lol I went to take pictures and decided to clean up a bit and ran the shop vac too long and pop goes the circut breaker and I got locked in the garage. They came out a bit blurry but after that ordeal this is what I got

I'm back... figured out the new setup here... I'm a little slow. Your little ladies are looking good there Stank. VERY healthy and vigorous.

They certainly seem to like that new light!! The new growth off the smaller one I am training was crazy....easily the most I have seen off her. This really makes me want to figure out how to use my old cell phone to do a time lapse grow.

We’re experimenting with time lapse too. What cell phones did time lapse? I’ve been an Apple girl too long mb

I don't know....but I have an old S4 Galaxy that works fine as a camera, was hoping to figure something out with that, or I will need to use the Nikon on a tripod. I am hoping someone on here will have done something like that before and will share their experience!
