Right on! This will be my first show in about 5 years - since their last tour before the breakup. First show was in 91 I think at Shoreline Amphitheater. Best show I ever saw was in 94 in Vermont. Definitely gonna be taking some meds and checking them out. I think they come around here in a month or two and I can't wait. I have spent all my entertainment budget lately on this room, and this will be the first real fun thing I've indulged in in quite a while.

Hey PG.
Happy 420 man. I'm anxiously awaiting to find out what you determine with your CAP generator. I'm finishing out my current grow with tanks, then moving to the unit you mentioned. It sounds like you have the electronic ignition, versus the constant pilot light model?
I wish I had suggestions, but as the good Walter Sobchak (from Big Lebowski) once stated, I'm outta my element.
I'll be looking to see what you determine....

HAPPY 420 !!! - Update
Hi all! 420 Report and Pics: Not a whole lot to report actually. I have not gotten info on the CO2 gen. I have to admit it slipped my mind. Its working correctly now. I will call tomorrow.
All else seems to be fine. The cloning experiment was a colossal failure. Well, the experiment was a success in that it showed me what not to do. I'll post pics and describe it if you want. Suffice it to say I have no new and wonderful short cuts for cloning. Back to rw til I can afford an ez-cloner.
Now for some pics. Youngest First.
The next batch of Utopia Haze - End of first week of flower, only 87 more weeks to go:

I'm sure the new site will generate more income for 420 which I guess is good, but I HATE the way it resized the pics in my journal. If I wanted a medium sized pic I'da put one there. These little ones take all the ooomph out. Pffffff. Neg Reps to 420. Also the white text on light grey is a bad color choice, and the dark bars between posts is too dark for my taste.

Click on any of your pictures that now post in the journals, an external viewer will pop up for viewing the entire picture. Nice feature, but takes a little bit to get used to!

Oh and with the new site when you go to your profile window, to the left of your number of blog entries it says "Customize profile", it allows you to customize colors and fonts. Allowing you to change things up so you won' to have to see the white text on light grey.

Edit: Not finding where to change the css. I know how to do it in Firefox, but not through the site. I see the option to see other users changes, but I don't see where to change it. I've read the FAQ and still reading through the site to find any directions.

Hey Papa, your ScrOG is amazing. And Butcher's honorary cola is looking great. Remind me - how far are you in to flowering on the ScrOG? Looking forward to watching that cola fill in!

Thanks! She went to 12/12 on March 13th, should harvest around middle to end of May. Gonna have some new pics soon - the scrogs starting to take shape finally. But we're still in the doldrums of boring time. Another few weeks and we'll start to get some good porn.
Everything but the Utopia finishes end of May. The Utopia should finish end of June. The Volde is driving me friggin crazy. Its the first plant I've ever grown that I felt like it was a race to get something out of it before it dies. I definitely would NOT recommend that strain to a beginner or someone who doesn't want to baby their plant.

How long are you thinking the UH will take? I've seen anywhere from 9 to 13 weeks, and other than a few cfl grows that went 13 weeks (as I would expect), no real good grow based numbers.
It's ready when it says it's ready, but references help too! Oh well, you're the guinea pig.
Keep up the super dooper work!
p.s. - I did sample some popcorn bud from a U.H. @ 7.5 weeks into flower, and it was gooood.

You're right that dang UH is loooong. I allocated 100 days of 12/12, including transition. That's basically a little over 14 weeks. March 13th to End of June. That quality Sativa should go to 50% amber I think.
Glad to hear the popcorn was good. Every day I get more excited. It took a long time to find those seeds. I also took a clone of each plant that I had started, and one is extremely vigorous and her clone has become a beautiful mom. So I am confident I have an award winning mom in the stock. We'll see if I can maximize her potential.

SD Scrog Final Wrap Up - 420g
Ok folks. Here goes. My first real wrap up in a journal.
The Strawberry Diesel scrog has been put in to cure. So here's the wrap up of the grow.
The Smoke:
Good but not great. I would pay $90-100 a quarter for this and feel good. I smoked the bud from the pics on 4-20 starting at 4:20am and it lasted two days. I am really glad I let the rest go a week longer. I smoked some of whats going in to cure and it is far more potent. We'll see in a few weeks if I raise it from a 7/10.
The Numbers:
Not terrible. The space was clearly too small for the lights as you'll see from the numbers below, but all in all a good result I think. And the final dried weight of only dried bud and no stem going in for cure was a karmic 420g!
Using these numbers to extrapolate for the current Barney's scrog is certainly encouraging that I might hit that elusive 1+g/w. 8 vs 6 plants. 25% more sq ft. Same density. Better Vert.
Vegged under about 450w of CFLs and Flowered under 600HPS.
Only 2'x4' of horizontal space and less than 4.5' vert including light.
Wet Weight: 1492.7g (Columbus would have been proud)
Dry Weight: 420g or 14.84oz
Grams per Watt of lights: .7 g/w
Grams per Square Foot: 52.5 g/ft2
Grams per Square Meter: 564.9 g/m2
Avg Per Plant: 70g or 2.47oz per plant
The Timeline:
Started from Seed on Dec. 11th. I don't have any pics till Jan 8th:
First Day of Flower Jan 11th:
2 days later I started to lose the battle of the canopy:
Plants are healthy, canopy not so level. Remember the entire vert including lights and pots is about 4'10".
That dang AK-47 Tall pheno in the back needed a remedy. Before supercrop:
After Supercrop:
I have this labeled as day 5 of flower (that would be after the transition time - hairs are clear and tiny tiny buds are forming:
They were getting crazy so time for the scrog! Fist step - pull them out to clean prep for the scrog. Here they are out of the space while I prep:
Test fit the scrog before weaving it. I chopped a corner to reduce the agony when stretching to the opposite back corner:
When I started to put the plants in - I was actually doing it under the green light, so I only have 1 pic during the placing of the girls:
And here she is the next day:
A few days later. The tops have righted themselves, and now its just a matter of keeping them woven and placed neatly.
Day 20 of Flower - She's starting to fill in:
Feb 19:
The plant with the quarter yielded like a mofo:
March 23:
Apr 5:
Apr 9 - Mid Harvest:
Same day - Apr 9:
Finishing harvest Apr 12th:
Apr 15th - Drying:
Apr 20 - 420 Bud:
Apr 22nd - In for the Cure. Those are 2.3l each and about the same I guess on the Folgers.
