Ub 801

That's how I do my daily sample.

In the fan oven at around 100 F, I lay it on the bottom shelf with only top heat.

The tunnel encourages vectorized air-flow over the buds (broken up small to maximize surface area).

It also protects the buds from the direct heat of the oven elements.
After 20 mins I move the bits around with my fingers, 10-20 mins later it's ready to smoke :bongrip:

Heck of a Photo Shoot Mr. Suavay.

T-minus 38 mins until Showtime.

:ciao: Hi Rico!
Love the pics and commentary- pretty and funny simultaneously.:bravo:

Mr Mouse wouldn't last long in my grow- Miss Kitty would get rid of him instantly.:rip:

I do sample drying the same way with foil- only I heat it on top of the bread toaster- works great and doesn't dry the bud out as much. :high-five:

Happy growing (and moderating)!
:peace:

Hi Flo :ciao: Great minds, etc

The tunnel method leaves the bud perfect for smoking :tokin: Dry, but not too dry.

The important part is maximising surface area by teasing the buds from the stems and tearing the calyxs apart.

The hit of finger hash is also a welcome, tasty and immediate treat, while I'm waiting for the oven :bongrip:

I use the toaster to mask the smell :)

Happy growing to you too :yummy:

Picture update :ciao:

Haha sexually confident I like that description. Lots of mouse traps there. Glad I dont have that issue

No I won't, but thanks :laughtwo: I do get a fistfull o' buds every day, however, I am trying to leave the two younger squirryls alone to reach maturity and hopefully some yield :dreamy: Mr Mouse already had my share :loopy:

The grumpy sativa squirryl smells like peppery rocket leaves :yummy: Any idea what strain smells like that?

:laughtwo:

"Give us this day our daily bud".....I'm going to make a sign up for my grow room with that!
Mr. Mouse sounds smarter than the average meeces. Ya gotta hide that peanut butter inside the little loop and under it on the trap so he has to work at it to get it out. ;-)
I hope he's at least going home trippin'. LOL
Nice update Sir Rico...er squirryl.

Sooo....if you have mice hanging out in the plant containers...does that mean your plants are getting lots of nitrogen with the mouse poo?

:biglaugh::biglaugh:

I think we can do without that sort of nitrogen :skeptical: just doesn't make up for the lack of plant limbs...

I wish I'd thought of it earlier, while he was just triiming fanleaves. The traps are notoriously inneficient. but a great scare tactic.

There is a drain under the bunker bottom pallets, like an unfinished shower or something, so it must have come in that way, all sprung traps are lying behind the raised terrasse.

I have started 3 Dinafem Super Silver, all 3 have sprouted and are now 2 day old healthy seedlings :)

Man those snap traps don't work! They'll eat the cheese & leave the trap set. Unbelievable. You have to get the glue traps, the large ones.

Princess DIY, I don't think they wait until they're on top of the soil to take a poop.

Thing is Reg, I don't want to kill Mr. Mouse, I'm happy when he gets away :cheer:

I have some sticky traps as well, but that system just seems unfair and cruel, somehow :scratchinghead:

He may have done a little poop or two on the soil, but I didn't see any :geek:

It's amazing how such a tiny creature can have such a huge "aroma".
