Small update.

I took some pics last night while playing with the settings on my camera and got a few good shots. The flowering tent is doing well and we're on the 5th week of flowering. Everything I doing good except these two picky ass kush plants. I don't think they like what I'm feeding them. They will survive but they're kinda ugly. The Viper cookie x bubbas gift plant is looking really good and frosty. Her buds reek of viper cookies with a berry smell as a undertone. I'm definetly not looking forward to trimming her because she's going to have a overwhelming smell that makes my stomach turn. She will be coming down in two weeks.

.Blackberry. Her nugs are not getting very big but she's frosty and sweet smelling. I have high hopes for this strain and I plan on putting two more in the flowering tent in 3 weeks.

Lemon og, she has about 3 weeks left. She looks and smells very different than the last pheno I grew...

Veg tent update:

All is well in the Veg tent tonight. I would Like to say I'm training them but to be honest I have no idea what I'm doing. I suppose I'm trying to get a bunch of tops and some clones from each strain. I seem to be on track and I'll start transplanting soon. I have less than 3 weeks to get them ready.

5 Orka clones. I'm hunting for a keeper here. The Orka was soooooo tasty

Purple Urkle, I really really really like this plant. Super close nodes and side branching everywhere. Lots of clones to choose from.

Blackberry trying to get tall... she needs to calm down.. lol

Hey man awesome setup!! Couldn't help notice your Blackberry Kush :drools:

I think you'll enjoy it, somehow with mine it tastes great with only like a two week cure... And that trim off yours will be epic with how frosty that sweet leaf looks!

I also notice you had a little leaf curl-down with her and so did I, I wonder if it's a characteristic of the strain.

I have two clones of her hitting flower in about a week so I'll we will see if she acts the same.

Update.. I chopped the bubba's gift x Viper cookies a couple days ago so the Lemon og and blackberry are getting harvested soon. There's a little purpling on the bubba cookies and she smells really good. She should be dry today and hit the jars.

The veg tent is moving right along. The Bday cake, urkle, two blackberries and two VCOG13 hit the flowering tent next week.

Thanks man. I really enjoy it too and only have 5-10 seeds left of her, I have been thinking about trying to get a little mother plant going to take clones. I noticed a couple interesting phenotype variations too. I was really expecting my PGSC to be the hands down better strain but this one really gives it a challenge. Most of my friends I have shared a few nugs with like it more. I wish I could find this strain on the seed banks, I only have bagseed.

Bubbas gift x Viper cookies harvest results.

She yielded almost 2 ounces but I smoked her fast and shared with the fam. I only let her flower for 7 weeks and she's strong and tasty. Kinda sucked watching her shrink but she definetly got dense. I hit her with mendecino bud hardener and snow storm ultra and it's seems to have paid off. She's fruity when smoked and sticky when you touch her. These are pics of the biggest nug broken up and I thought I would share before I smoked her. I also posted her up for nug of the month. I had my first post deleted for blood/gore/death of a Lego man and I'm currently waiting for permission to share it in my journal. It's still in my gallery if anybody really wants to see it..

Next up is Blackberry, I'm cutting her right after I make this post.

Blackberry chop..

She looks really good but she doesn't really have a strong smell. The top of the plant came out really nice but almost everything under the canopy was fluff, I'll probably remove the lower growth on the next run. Definetly sticky and I got a small ball of scissor hash from her. She was probably my shortest plant this run and the only one I topped. When she was removed from the tent her tops were making the plant fall over. I'll go over her again once she dry to give my opinion. I'm chopping the Lemon and the odd kush plant today and I'll be filling the flowering tent back up in a couple days.

Moxie lemon og day 57 and on the chopping block

She's all chopped and drying and she smells good. Nice dense nugs and a strong lemony smell. Very light green and she looks way better than she did my very first grow, totally different phenotype imo. She was a hermie so I'm done with her. Kinda sucks that out of all of the feminized seeds I bought from moxie only one was stable, the Viper city 13, and it was a free seed.

Look at the side branching, everyone goes all the way up to the canopy level. I wish all my strains grew like this.

Flowering tent update.

We have six lonely plants left so it's time to fill her up again. Tomorrow I'll add 2x Blackberry, 2x vcog13, The Birthday Cake and the urkle after i cut clones. I'll do a veg tent update tonight too.

What's left is my VCOG 13 and Orka 1 - 5. The Viper city has about a week and a half left and the Orkas have about 4 weeks. The Viper is smelling good and was very interesting as a reveg. She didn't stetch as much as she did the first time and her tops are smaller. Still looks like a decent yeild and some good smoke so I'm siked.

The Orkas are smelling like orka and looking for a keeper is easy, I like all of them.. lol. I'll chose after there close to harvest. She's from Dinafem and she's white widow crossed with haze, awesome strain and highly recommend.

I actually got to try some from the club today and it was kinda vanilla flavored and sweet. Super frosty too. I'm hope mine turns out similar. It definetly earned the name birthday cake.

I topped her before flower and I don't think I gave her enough time to recover. Her lower growth was a bunch of fluff but her tops and mid growth came out nice. She is not a stinker like I'm use too and her sweet berry and fresh clean taste is very mild. I usually prefer by buds to reek but she's a nice change. Everybody else loves it but I was kinda on the fence until we smoked a fat nug today. I like it but she might be the strongest strain I've ever grown and really tore me up. I definetly didn't get a couch lock effect but my head was on backwards. I couldn't focus on anything and was struggling to do everything. I felt uncomfortable to drive which usually only happens with dabs and I've been trying to make this post for hours now... lol. I feel good right now... kinda lazy though but I'm definitely worries free and smiling for no good reason at all.

Everything you've described is pretty on key with my experience with it too, especially the strength! I had some Platinum Girl Scout cookies that this stuff was slightly stronger than, and that's a strain that usually sits in the 20-26% range.

I like how close the first bud shot looks to yours. I just get all giddy when a strain looks and has the same effects from one person to another Makes it feel like it's the "real deal".

Still a little confusion about whether mine is just BlackBerry or BlackBerry Kush though. Starting to think mine is just normal Blackberry and the guy I got the bagseed from just attached "kush" to it haha

Anyway she looks awesome!

Nice review.. Spot on with the effects . I'm guessing we have a little different phenotypes but still really close especially with the high. I didn't get much purpling but it was was too freakin hot outside to get my Temps lower. Yours turned out fantastic looking but I'm definetly giving her another go.

I'm wondering if you live in CA since our strains seem so close. If so that explains it all because it seems like everybody grows from club clones these days. I prefer seeds but they are such a pain to order sometimes and they get expensive.

No I'm in the PNW, but I have seen "Blackberry Kush" going around the dispensaries a lot here too. I haven't seen any with the "Kush" suffix on online seed banks and from what I have read it's kind of a "legendary" strain so I do wonder if it's a cut-only one as well.

Yeah I did one grow with clones and kept getting bugs from people or stuff like that. I have managed to buy some pretty good stuff locally and these ones my friend actually found in their stuff and saved for me. Turned out better than the ones I paid for haha

I am really wanting to take some cuts to clone but I don't have a veg tent. On my last 8 seeds of it and probably can't get any more.

You could always run a reveg or cut flowering clones. Clones don't need much light at all, they can live in a box or a cuboard for a few weeks with a weak light above them. Maybe if you cut clones the 4th or fifth week of flower they would be ready for your next run.

Here's a pic at my attempt at flowering clones, I cut these more than 2 weeks ago and they are starting to root I think. I want to start a journal on them once I know they are rooted. 3 blackberry and 3 VCOG13.

Both are sitting in flowering as we speak but I wanted to pop some pics before they start doing what their destined to do..

Bday cake, she got big but such thin stems.

Urkle, she's bushy, she needs a trim for sure.

Cut a batch of clones using rapid rooters and clonex. 4 blackberry, 4 Urkle, 4 Birthday Cake.
