Two Tents By Twox: A Memoir Of A Monthly 8oz Harvest

That update yesterday was awsome Twox. I so can't wait for my setup to do what you do. Chop, transplant, clone, up-pot, all on the same day.

Your collection of seeds is looking amazing. Seed/strain collecting can get pretty addictive pretty fast. I got about 40 seeds from 13 odd different strains in the past 2 months but still can't even grow them yet. Sooo wanting to start planting some.

Out of curiousity if you get say 2-5 seeds how do you plant them? Plant 1 just to sample? Plant all of them at the same time and try to find your favourite to clone or self-seed? My setup won't be as big as yours (2'x2' veg and 3'x3' flower) so I'll be limited on room, but just wondering what others do with their multiple seeds.

There doing great.. They went into the flowering tent tonight so tomorrow will be day one. I took some pics today ( about 300.. lol) but I still need to dig through them.. She was easy to grow so far and was happy the whole time. Even when I peeked at them tonight there happy with the new light.. The OG13 hates it... they look sad..
I'll post some pics tomorrow and I'll take a ton through flowering.

What's up nightmask... Thanx for the compliments but I'm going to be honest with you..The flip sucks.. I spread it out over a few days sometimes but these freaking OG13s were growing fast and where about to touch the light.. I had to do it today and everything else demanded some attention too.

I'm definetly addicted to seeds this year, so many strains, so little time. If I'm unsure about a strain or just not that excited I'll pop 2. (Thank good I didn't grow 5
CkS blueberry, that strain sucked) If im super excited and trust the breeder and know the strain I'll do a whole pack IF I have room. I'm always looking for keepers and I cut clones of everything just incase. I donate any unwanted clones. I'm still unsure about these purple envys and this Og13 so I didn't pop the whole pack... The TrapStars though... I did the whole pack..:thumb:
 
Thank you for the quick response I do appreciate it. I would have love to see how your envy turns out before ordering, but unfortunately I can't wait. After hours of sleepless nights and hours upon hours of searching I've decided on a couple and envy had priority over Ken's GDP (I just don't trust GDP will turn PURPLE all the time even with a temp change.) I'm currently in breeding process and have crossed a Critical Sensi Star photo Mom with a Jota Mayuscula Purple Auto reversed fem. After a year I have reversed and collected pollen from 3 different purple auto strains just to find out that the potency is just not their and their needs to be mixed with something else.
This is what I'm deciding on my final order

God Bud from bc
The Black from bc
Purple Envy
Red purps
The envy replaced the GDP from Kenny.
My goal is to create a strain with Purple or Silver'ish leaves with a purple flower and high potency.
Reversing , collecting , time spent is a bitch. Now I'm looking at a few more years! Lol I just want 1 final product that will make me proud that I can grow and not worry about phenotype's etc. I plan on making my seed order this week (it's either now or nothing) so I'm preying you get purple in those Envy's! Please keep the updates on the Envy if anything!
 
Also, I want to work on that CSS (it smells like bubblicious bubblegum) very crazy..I've never smelt cannabis like this and I plan on after this cross to cross it with the 2 other purples one at a time but later! I'll have to reverse ,backcross and collect pollen from this new order so that CSS cross will most likely be crossed with the new order before the final crossing of the 2 purple Auto's. I'm thinking less than 2 years. (Hopefully)
Right now in my tent is 2 CSS witch 1 of them is pollinated and a GSC from fast buds reversed fem male x Buddha seeds Purple Kush Auto! I'm hoping that the GSC adds more potency to the PK..
The GSC from fast buds just needed to dry and smoke..No cure involved and potent as heck! ( That Autoflower impressed me more than any Photoperiod in potency..No cure needed)

Sorry for keep replying after I hit post I'm like (shit I want to ask him another question) I'm looking for knock you out strains or couchlock I believe some refer to it as and I see your a seed hoarder so can you recommend some seeds I can order? Im wondering if the strains that I want to order is just a hype job or is it really that potent. Well let me be blunt..Is God Bud and The Black potent strains? Is their anything stronger that you know of or have grown?
 
Sorry, another question have you ever ordered from Herbie's pick n mix? I'm so scared to order knowing from the pick and mix knowing my order won't come in original breeders pack, I've ordered from Herbie's main superstore without any issues but that pick n mix site kinda worries me due to accidental human error. Have you ever ordered from the pick n mix and have you ever felt that what you grew wasn't what you ordered?

I've never smoked The Black, isn't that a Vietmanese strain? God Bud has put up some high numbers, but honestly when I see it on the shelves or in the analysis results, it's not really all that high up there. I mean, usually it's above 25%, or at least above 20%, but I still see many other strains getting higher results. I think I see Dutch Treat post the most consistent >25% results, Gorilla Glue comes up a lot, Girl Scout Cookies is also usually >25%. Then there's some newer strains out there pulling big numbers like 9 lb Hammer.

If you Google up analytical companies, some of them have databases where they post the test results of samples they've analyzed. At the analysis lab I use, The White is dominating the results now, with an average 27%. Sinmint Cookies is also a big hitter.

If you're looking for something to turn purple and be super potent, Black Cherry Soda seems to be a great strain and I've never seen it not purple.

I'd check out some of ACE seed's strains. They have some very colorful landrace strains that you could cross with something like GDP and probably come out with some super purple.

Where would I find a black cherry soda, I've heard of it but never saw the seeds on Herbie's or Attitude? If the strains I want are not on those 2 sites their not on my radar.

Ace of Spades is by TGA Subcool seeds

I trust that Herbie's pick 'n mix will sell you the seeds specified - whether the seeds are what they say they are is more on the breeder, for example is Clone Only Strain The White the same as Connoisseur Genetics The White - maybe, maybe not. I don't believe the "White Widow" I purchase in my first seed order has anything to do with the White Widow that won an early Cannabis Cup, and if it does, the breeder probably stole the strain.. It make more sense to think of each breeders seeds as different, even if they have the same names.

I agree with you and was not expressing mistrust for Herbie's or attitude. I'm talking about sites like RIU , Autoflower.n and so forth! To be honest if the strains I want are not on Herbie's or Tude I'm not buying it! I am sketchy about using Herbie's pick n mix and will not go that route and will order from their superstore instead, with people handling seeds out of breeder packs I feel like theirs too much room for human error.

If your interested in a black cherry soda cross search Annunaki Genetics. He's a small time breeder that puts a lot of love into his strains and has tons of info on them. Much more than any breeder I know of and he even sells his untested strains at a reasonable price..

I don't know much about herbies but I've heard good things. I've been using seeds here now and dank team lately. My flavor pallet for genetics has dramatically changed this year.

My favorite breeder at the moment has got to be In House Genetics or Exotic. Both these breeders have some killer strains:thumb:

I'll definetly keep everybody updated on the Envys and I hope they turn purple too.
 
Thank you twox! I will goggle him and check him out! And thanks to the other members for the information provided! That's all my questions for now, so now I'm just going to take a backseat and enjoy the show!
 
Purple Urkle Photo Dump..
What's up everybody.. I chopped all the Purple Urkles yesterday and finally dug through all the pics.. All the nugs were real dense and I had 3 to 4 tops per plant. Not as purple as my last run but frosty and stinky still.
The buds smell like Fruity Pebbles and the stems smelled like apricots.. I only removed fans leaves with a exposes stem and I'll dry trim them once they are ready. The buds seem to stink more and stay sticky when I dry trim... No more wet trimming for awhile.. enjoy
