ive found eating it raw, like fresh picked will tear you up inside. at least it did to me. but your better off cooking it, even if its just ramen noodles and butter
If you've ever looked at it under a microscope you will see the 'fur' is pointy and directional. If you rub a leaf one way it's smooth, the other has friction kinda. I do find myself munching on stems and seeds all the time tho.
