how high does an l.e.d board from top????:adore:

Hey DH, The LED's are 1.5ft from the canopy. The plant are raised 0.5ft (they are sitting on the coke racks) from the floor. Like them a bit high so the side & corner plants gets some lights too, also the higher it is more light bounce occur. Too high the plants may not get enough light penetration as it lose strength with distant. I find 1.5ft from canopy is best for LED and 2ft for mh/hps. Will add another LED in few months.

Nice haul on the SLH. The first pic looks like an invitation to a wedding, but instead to Twelve12 SLH :):rollit:

Oh really? haha. Yes, the wedding with Mary Jane is coming up soon. We're still dating. Will have the smoke report and final thoughts in a week. I still got some SLH in the 2L SOG, which will not be ready for another 45days, that's a different batch (2L SOG batch). I've experimented with harvesting during the off hours, an hour before the light normally turns on 12/12. Through research thought it was interesting.

Beautiful pics and plants Twelve12! :bravo:

I really like the DIY scrubber, and congratulations on the SLH harvest. The colors in those buds are amazing... :thumb:

I harvested my last 2 plants right before lights on - not sure how much it mattered, but thought I'd share my similar experimentation.

Take care my friend, keep up the amazing work! :)

1212, my friend, WOW!!!:bravo:
Love the cover art you done for the SLH too, I made something similar, but yours blows my presentation away!!! Check out my indoor journal to see it, Congrats again!!!

Update: Pineapple Express 30 days Bloom

I love the way she's growing. She reacted well to the training combo; LST/Topping/FIM. Sitting quietly in 3gal soil hempy. Although this is my last time growing using this method. Going to switch the soil with pure hydrotons. Doing experiments right now using just that and there are great roots developments for the clones. Resins production kicked in at 2nd week in bloom. Lovely fragrant can't wait to smoke her up. Vegged for almost 2 months to allow the training combo to really kick in. Fast flowering, and I hope it produces over an once for this entire plant. During the summer I get very low yield per plants due to extreme heat waves. Will continue to keep up with this pheno and grow like 6 at a time filling up one tent. Just love how its developing.

Thanks for stopping by X! The scrubber is a small beast. I had people over and they didn't smell a thing. My roommates doesn't know that I grow, that's how awesome they are at hiding the odors which is very strong with many plants in flowering mode. Hope the stealth stays that way. The SLH harvest was 4 plants, only chopped about 40% of it, very low yield, due to extreme heat and I can't wait for the cooler days! Putting the SLH out of the perpetual bloom cycle until Winter.

Thanks GT. Oh, I was just playing around with text on photo. It was done while on SLH, got so high that I forgot some details in the grow info. I'll check yours out.

12, nice presentation on the SLH harvest i like that!
looking forward to the smoke report!
your PE is looking killer you got a nice eye for a good picture!
keep up the great growin!

very nice shag. awsome:adore:

1212 tell me about this soil with hydrotones thing! I'm a soil grower now on a ff sched! Why are you switching? Should I follow your lead? Thanx my man!

Thanks Shaggie. I'll have more of those type of photos from now on. It helps with quick glance to see all the info without having to read bunch of text from my journal, heh. Often I want to know more about the plants I'm looking at from a photo, so I gotta be the change I want to see. Will have the smoke report up soon. Gotta find the time and make a nice report with new pics.

very nice shag. awsome:adore:

You bet! How is it going with your new journal? Like to check out what you're growing, and the setups.

Hey CannaVince! The hydrotons on top of soil help keep the top layer moist longer which will promote some roots growing up! Also help with watering as it spreads the water penetration throughout and trickle down into the soil, without them there would be holes everywhere and some soil could splash out along with the water. I'm actually running this method till these plants are done with their bloom session. Switching the entire grow operation to hydrotons only. It'll be more like a passive hydroponic, no pumps yet. Also experimenting with airpot and hydroton only atm.

Hey Twelve12,

Your SLH looks great! I ran into a little bit of bad luck. My tangerine dream hermied on me so I had to pull it. On the bright side I pulled about 50 Seeds from it and my SLH I didn't care to much about because it was a bit gimpy looks to be producing at least one seed. I'll call it Super tangerine haze!

I got a few more tangerine but they all seem to be harming so I will probably pull them as well. In the mean time I just castrated them. Seems like balls are only on the very first node closest to the stem.

It a bummer looks like I need to drop some more seeds...

Hey Jinxter! Thanks. Only the top cola is worth harvesting everything else just too small and become hash product. Still good but can't be in bud form. This Summer we had an entire month with temp over 100F outside, highest was 108F really destroyed the potential yield. I'm just going to keep it up until the cooler days approach (oh god let it be soon!). Guess we're both experiencing issue with our grow.

Your TD went hermie but you can still grow them and make hash with it. Seperate the seeds and keep the loose buds, grind it up and process it. That would take some work though. I keep all trichome covered leafs and put it through the grinder and send it off as stemless/seedless high quality joint ready product. Have no complaints. When you plant the TD seeds, won't they too be hermies? Hope your new seeds will turn out great. Any issue with the grow can really set us back. 1/3 of my crop is damaged by the heat waves, how fast it dried up was crazy.

Hey Twelve12,

Thing is I don't think the mother is a hermit. I am under the impression that it turned during the second week in 12/12 when I did a second round if topping. My og's never have a issue with it but I think it was to much stress for the TD's. Only the first nod closest to the main stem grew the bananas. If it was a hermit from birth it would have them all over randomly. I am going to pick up some reverse tomorrow and spray them just in case, i will also spray the mother as i have heard that it stops the clones from having the tendancy to hermi. apparently it suppresses the male pod growth and passes it down to the clones on a biological level. I'll keep you posted on that.

As for your heat issues I suggest investing in a C02 system. It will allow your plants to indure higher heat. Usually up to 100 degrees. It will also boost your yield and allow your plants to drink and feed more. I usually go through about 3.5 gallons of water/feed per day on 10 sites in my system.

1212 my man thanx for the info! So your gonna do 100% hydroton? Like in place of soil? It will be good on gnats that's for sure! Will you use air pots then or reg pots?

Oh that's interesting. That made sense if the plant is hermie from the begining the clone would show bananas everywhere, but you said there were only a few spots with it. Yes, TD is a sensitive girl more so then any I've dated, lol. Still growing mine out slowly hope they make it through this Summer. I got the portable a/c installed and turned off the home ac unit. The roommate wants it cool when they get home, but that just adds up the cost. Going to turn on the house a/c an hour prior to their return. Never knew CO2 allow plants to endure up to 100F. Will it work if the place is around 80F? or the heat is require for fast intake on CO2?

No problem, anytime. Yes, I'm going 100% hydroton with airpots on flood drain table (DIY). Just need to wait for the flowering tent to finish before putting in the new setup. I'm ready for gnats!

Ohhh 1212 dont say that about the gnats! Ive been vacuuming them and so forth! They are awful! Well i need to get some pics of that new setup asap when its ready buddy! Sounds amazing! I wish gnats on NOBODY! they suck! Youve got me peaked! Thanx

Hey Twelve12,

No the heat is not required the co2 simply alows the plant to drink more and keep the plant hydrated in high heat. My last grow I had heat issues because my ac failed and my temp got into the high 90s. I was running c02 and they all made it. I had a much smaller yeild though but that was due to the spidermites and powder mold (when it rains it pours).

Update: ScrOG Closet Grow

In this batch we have 1024, Hammerhead, Cheese, Grapefruit Diesel (M), and Pineapple Chunk. Powered by two 180w LED (357 Magnum). The Hammerhead is taking lead on bloom, first to start. Cant wait for the colas to show. No sign of nute burn or anything, all good strains I really like Hammerhead the most as it react to the ScrOG method quite well. After this I'm going to ScrOG only HH.
