Not trying to be rude, but 12's journal contains a LOT of valuable information, and he's gone to a lot of work to document it for our benefit....

it's not!!! it is nothing special!!! it's why I don't buy hash out here!!! man if I was near you and knowing the prices here, I would gladly hand you a 20 for the gram!!! GLADLY!!!

this gives me an idea for the end of my first journal, i think after the weight/smoke report point i'll do a "conclusion" post that out lines and repost the most important lessons facts and pics of the whole journal, kinda a moral of the story post i will put in all the key elements funny moments/jokes extreme highs lows ,,whatcha think?,

,im scared of hash, i had it once and i was reduced to a pool of quivering jello that could not utter one understandable word or thought for that matter! it was scary! :whoa: i lay'd on the floor for an hour (felt like 3 days) thinking "so this is it i die at 20 i never did anything" lol its funny now but at the time i was shaken pretty good i guess smoking 4 grams of albino blonde hash in 15 min is a bad idea :rofl: i have never been tempted again till i saw your haul, now im looking up was to process all the leaf i have saved from the last 3 grows, i used to throw or give it away, truth be said i have never made any hash,oil budder, etc, i have brewed canna tea, (not bad btw) i blend it with other herbs for flavor improvment

your journal is one of my favorites i find so much great stuff in here its like a goldmine of knowledge:thankyou::welldone::thumb:
ps i got my light yesterday damn its bright lol and started a new journal for all the new stuff

I know you have mentioned this before in a post but what are you using to take the microscope pictures. I'd really like to invest in one if they aren't too much $$. Now that I have most of expenditures taken care of, this is high on my want list.

Yeah the hash is quite powerful. Best with water pipe with ice. Sounds like you had a great time with hash back in the days, lol. Yes, save the trims and turn them into hash. It is quite easy just require some physical work.

I still need to put together the hash smoke report and warp up this journal. Great, going to sub your journal now before I forget.

1970s Grower ~ The one I got is a Veho Discovery VMS-004 Deluxe Microscope, at the time cost around $50 price went up now unless you search around for good deals. It is a 2MP sensor and gets the job done. Let us know what you end up getting.
 
Jeez, Quix, chastise much? Not like we're noobs to the thread - I went back 4 pages before asking that question, I guess I just missed it. We all know how much work and info is on here (I have personally mentioned it multiple times here), and that's why it can be hard to find one particular post.

So, about 1/4 of your total weight turned out as hash? Is that a usual turnout? That's awesome! I love hash, and if I can make it that easily(and plentiful) I would be in heaven. You'd lose 1/4 of your weight after curing anyways, so that's like 1/3 of your weight in dried bud= hash weight. It's just a different trip smoking hash instead of bud.

SauronBlue ~ Got actually 30% of hash from the dry buds amount; the trims had bunch of small stems, and the seeded buds well the seed can add on the weight. I'm happy with the dry ice method. I need to test more hash tonight for quality control purpose...I think after you run your 2L SOG there will be plenty of trims for hash making. With the SOG the hash department has opened! Soon enough I'll offer hash delectable.
 
While reading your grow and searching sites I came across a grow box that uses a ultrasonic water diffuser for the mister in the cloner/veg/time capsule. The same one used in the grow box is this one...Hagen Exo Terra Mini Fogger - PT2080. I am new to the board so I can't post links and pics. The PT2080 is used as a terrarium fogger. This misting system may improve rooting (opposit of what you are trying to accomplish via the time capsule) but more importantly may prevent clogging of misters. Just my thoughts.

Hi yieshabud! I've used the fogger once never got any roots from the cuttings so I stopped using it. Right now I use aero and bubble for rooting. Maybe I should warp the fogger and give that to someone for this holiday, lol. For the aero cloner I don't use the spray heads, the pvc only have very small holes and it shoots jets of water up and hit the bottom of the cap and bounce back down. The water touches every stems. This method prevents leaks and saves on the spray heads eliminating clogging. Than you for your thoughts. It was stressful when figuring out what is needed for fast rooting. Now, I don't even think about it. Just cut and plug.

I have to agree, GodSpeed! However, sad news one of my main dispensary got locked up. Can't do business with the person any more and I'm very sad. Not sure if I can hold on to this dream job any longer since I have no one that can help me distribute large amount of meds. Will have to see what next month will be like.
