Twelve12's Perpetual Grow

Whats up Twelve12!! Sorry for the long vacation I took away from the site..finally built myself a new computer after my other took a poop a month ago...too bad i couldnt use this computer poop for my soil!!! lol Wow, your girls are looking great and that scrog has really filled in with nice buds!!! shouldn't be long now until they swell and start shining those nice amber lights at you saying "Im READY!!!" LOL.. thanks for sticking with my last grow as well....appreciate all the positive vibes and help!!

The 3d pics kick ass...did you use a 3d cam or just a editing program to create those....we should have more 3d bud porn!!! awesome!!!

Welcome back to 420 Magazine Icemud! Was wondering where you've were. Congrats on putting together the computer. I made the red & cyan 3D in photoshop with 2 different images. The other one is also from 2 different images put side by side for the optical illusion. I like the 2nd one better more realistic.

Small Update

Harvesting the Pineapple Express in 48hrs. Reviewing the "A Beginner's Guide to Harvesting" making sure I got everything checked before the harvest. They'll get their last dose of hps lumen today. Had their flush, and the leafs are loosing green. I'll be taking one or two photos before their 24hrs of darkness. Then, harvest while the lights are off. Can't wait to smoke this. Should hit me good since I have not medicated for quite sometime. Follow up with a smoke report.

Got two clones ready to go, keeping both as mothers for the clone army (2L SOG). This strain was easy to grow didn't give me any problems and loves my not so perfect grow condition. Curse you heat waves above 100-109F for 3 months straight! That's why I named its offspring "Firestorm", the mother ignored the heat and grew.

Update: Pineapple Express

Enjoy.

AWESOME 3D PICS!! Great photography!! Man those plants look beautiful!! It is cool that you can achieve the 3D without the glasses!! I like your new trademark too!! :theband:

Hey Twelve, just curious but what are you using to indicate the ladies :your pineapple express: are ready? Looks to me there are quite a few white hairs still, how are your trichomes looking?

Beautiful girl Twelve12! :bravo:

Thanks man. It was easy grow it took care of itself.

Glad you enjoyed that. I personally like the 3D one without the glasses. Will do more soon. 3D nugs here we come. Thanks, my new logo is overdue, finally took the time to make one after awhile without.

Sup Icemud! They keep on pumping out white hairs while the old ones turns color. I rely on the trich for ripeness. Got 80/20 on clear/amber. They can still go for another month if I let them, lol. Sativa dominant.

bag appeal of that is insane, can't wait to see it dried up. Nice plant bro

Bag appeal will be nice. Can't failed with fox tail buds. haha

Good job on the buds and new logo !

Thanks man it was from scratch. ;) Had a lot of fun all the way.

12 really like the new logo. I'll be looking for it the seed banks any time now. Great design and name recognition if you ever take your efforts up a level. That pineapple express looks great. May need to addmitmto the bucket list

Thanks 420Dexter. Some day I'll have my own seed bank. Travel the world like Greenhouse seeds with their strain hunter series looking for some awesome landrace to breed with. But first, I need to become a good grower (pulling max potency and yield per plant).

At what stage do you pull the fan leaves from the pineapple express and what is your thought process around defoliation? I know some growers believe strongly in it and others against. Interested in where you weigh in.

I usually defoliate around half way through bloom. 4th week for 8 weeks finish, 6th weeks for 12 weeks finish. It helps the light gets into lower buds and more air circulations which helps the plants take in C02 better.

The plants usually defoliate on their own starting at the lower leaves when in bloom, since those do not get as much light as the ones at the canopy level. Defoliating helps direct nutrients towards the bud development instead of maintaining unproductive leafs. Their job is to generate food from photosynthesis and when they are shaded off usually from mid to lower level the leafs still uses some nutrients and water to stay alive.

We remove small bud sites from the lower branches because they are never matured when harvest time. While some harvest in stages (cola first, then mid, then low branches few weeks a part) many do not and those buds take some away from the mid to top level bud developments. So, we have to think fan leafs share the same idea. :yummy:

This practice is only for indoor. Outdoor the sun provide more than enough that defoliation is not needed.

Hey Twelve12 -

Love the new logo, and great submissions for the 420mag logo - I knew you'd come up with something good. I can't decide what you are better at: growing, photography or design. Nice work all the way around, and thanks for sharing your defoliation strategy. As usual, those pics are amazing! :thumb:

Appreciate that X. Growing helped unlocked the hidden abilities. Talking about a wonder plant! Hope to polish them through the years to come :Namaste:

:thanks: Haha Pineapple Stick! The last time this strain be grown in soil. Hempy style. The roots isn't as massive as it could of been. Can't do it anymore after seeing the hidden force of coco coir. LST manage to provide 21 modest tops. Hope to get at least 2oz from this plant.

Hey there,
Those pics look just amazing! :goodjob::goodjob:

Can't wait to see the end results and sorry it took so long for me to get over here!

Crower619 Spark it up brother! I'm waiting for the nug to dry a bit and do a smoke report. I smoked some from last week and it was a bit harsh (expected), but the high was interesting.

fromscratch I just ate but what you said reawaken the hunger. lol

Mr. Krip Thank you very much Krip! Glad to see you in MOTM, long overdue I think we'll make sure you get it.
