Lord Indica It will take about 5-7 years to fully grow out all of the individual strains, if we were to grow them out single strain at a time. Might take a bit longer now that I no longer grow.

WoCha someday they will be available. The work mostly require abundance of time and patient. The seeds skin patterns are unique, however they are not permanent. It can be scrub off showcasing the under layer in which most seeds look alike. I like to keep the skin in tack like clothes we wear for style.

Sure is a bummer that things are on hold, but you will have some really great seeds to get you going when things are straightened out!
Just starting my own tiny project with breeding. I took a good looking Jack the Ripper male, and selectively pollinated a bud on an OG Kush, Deadhead OG, and Jack the Ripper female. Just thought it'd be fun to make a couple of interesting crosses, and while I was at it, pollinated a bud on the JTR female.
So far so good, and it looks like I managed to keep the pollen to just the buds I intended (whew) so I should have the rest of the plant unseeded. (crossing my fingers). Anyway, you were certainly one reason I was inspired to take this little experiment on --

Twelve12, Thanks for documenting your breeding program. The steps and strides you made as well as bumbles have helped and inspired me. I really appreciate the documenting of parents and offspring. Now I need to lean how to clone and pollinate. I intend on using allot of your work to help in breeding a cross with Omrita Rx, cause I like the high cbds, but I want the THC too. I want a bud that's high in both , I have the time and space to do it.

Let's all chip in and get twelve a place to grow in Colorado. Being All legit he could tell that psycho women to go blackmail someone else! What do ya need Twelve? How bout a warehouse that's 40' by 60', sitting next to a spring fed river that PH's out to 6.8? Maybe have a lime quarry next door and a chicken farm across the street next to a huge cave filled with bat's. Now that would be stellar, I would have to come visit regularly. Ahhhh, the possibilities!

My own profound bit of wisdom on the subject "Arguing with women is counterproductive". Quoting myself. I moved out of state once because of a woman I could no longer trust once and would do it again if I had to.

Xlr8 I'll swing by and check out your journal. Glad to see you taking up on breeding. In the future the POTM/NOTM will only have exclusive strains submitted from members, lol. That would be amazing.
Smoke2Js glad I had the opportunity to document it. Maybe I loose sight and will have to read up from the beginning and figure out where I had left off and continue from there when I'm ready. Looking forward to your breeding program and what you come up with.
Lord Indica The funny thing is I asked all my relatives and family members to help me out with a small loan to move and start growing again. Unfortunately, none believes in my ability to add something to the industry or even making a career out of it. I'm left on my own. Bit of sadness to the whole situation when my family & relatives thinks low of me for cultivating Cannabis. This will be awkward during family reunion. What I'm interested is what they will ask for once I "made it".

Boy I feel ya there. I took on my ailing mother, took in my high school nephews for a year and a half pushing them through HS and diploma with zero assistance from their custody mother or my low life brother. They were all there to borrow (never ever paid a cent back) when mom had a small bit of $$ when she sold her home. Yet when I asked, needed assistance to keep a roof under us, not a fucking one of them helped. We were within days of being on the street till a job came through and an old girlfriend from 30 yrs ago in Canada helped a bit and the landlord let me catch up. But no fucking help from family I had so freely helped out.
I hope you make it big time brotha. I got no shot.

Nonetheless, you'll get to a "legal" state and set up shop... When you do, you'll get real big, real quick, and we'll all have the honor of saying, "I knew him when..."

Twelve12, It is sad that families are like that with one another. I also understand that it takes a big pair to be a leader, that's why only 2% of 2% are true leaders. I am sure that if you continue to follow your passion, all your dreams will come true and in doing so the legacy that you leave will live forever through the utilization of the process and products that you introduced to the Mj community. We all have stories of being mistreated by our family members, in your case it is the fear of the unknown. They (family members) have trouble helping out someone who wants to break the law with their help. Only one person (other than my wife) on this planet knows about my grow, location, quantity and harvest date. He's my best friend and my wife was pissed that I told him. She is right actually. It is to easy to have your (pseudo) freedom taken from you. I know that a guy got turned in by his meter reader and had to do time. You know what they are going to ask you for, money and bud, which they will sale half of and smoke the rest. Being the kind of person you are you will give it to them. Givers give, takers take and haters hate.

Twelve12 , You can do it. You will find a way. It might take a while to get yourself situated. Don't give up hope or the dream that lit a fire under your ass and in your mind. You will succeed.

Bassman59 thanks for sharing your story. I can't imagine the stressful times you've been through. Mine is a dwarf compare to yours. I will continue to walk on the same path with or without the help from my fam. My goal still remains. Even all this rejection I will still hook them up with quality meds when they need it. To me, they are still a patient and as a caregiver in the natural world I cannot turn my back on them. Even if my struggle is their entertainment at the moment. Not only did I get a no it also came with some laughter, lol. Sure you have a shot in whatever your dreams may be. The distant to get there may vary and that can trick us thinking it is impossible to reach.

Lord Indica very sad indeed, like another nail in the foreclose home. This does not stop my daily motivation to get where I need to be. Thanks for the encouragement. I feel ya, growing in unfriendly state can cause paranoia and trust are easily broken. In friendly state (which I intent to move to) will have no effect if 1 or 1,000 people know about my cultivation. Now that I think about it what does not kill make us stronger. I hope you continue to cultivate without stress and that your trust in your wife and best friend remain strong till the end of days. Trust is the key element in building an everlasting relationship and love. Unfortunately, some people do not get this concept.
JBC420 thank you. I miss taking pics too. Haha yeah I think I cheated with some photography tricks to beat the Tangerine. I've posted many tutorials on how to improve ones photography to increase the chance of winning in POTM/NOTM. After observing and participating in contests only recently I've won them due to some principles applied. I think it helps to have some purple too, lol. I don't hate my family because of this, I just see it as another road block on my path to righteousness.

I love looking at the seeds that has the unique patterns. Like a finger print no patterns are the same. However, these cool looking marks are not permanent. They can be removed by scrubbing it off (like a scratch off lottery ticket) to showcase the under layer.
You are looking at Berry Bomb F2 (Berry Bomb x Berry Bomb). The fist pic had the original skin, the second removed. Many seed banks offer bald seeds. To me, the patterns gives the cross a characteristic and looks great. It has no effect on germination rate whatsoever. I wonder why seed banks removed them? All cannabis seeds have patterns if yours comes bald/nude then it was removed. Then again, I have not grown every strains exist in the world to confirm my theory, so far all my 27 crosses have them.
