Tutorial: Homemade Pipe Made From Your Plant Remains

@BeezLuiz If you don't mind me asking, Where do you source your decals from?
Actually, I make them myself. I purchased a packet of "water slide" paper online. It comes in 8.5" × 11" sheets so it fits into my color ink jet printer easily. I download clip art or other images online, resize and modify them on my desktop computer using Photoshop and then print them out onto the water slide paper.

I feel like this is a dumb question but how do you keep the wood from burning when smoking from the bowl?
I do not coat the inside of the bowl with any kind of chemical protectant, but fortunately the bowl wood is much denser than the ground-up weed that sits in it. As long as you don't leave the flame on the bowl for an extreme amount of time, it will not ignite - after all, you don't want to over-heat your weed when smoking because that will destroy the THC and your lungs. I've found that after a few smoke sessions, the bowl gets coated with resin and creates a natural protection.

Hello Beezluiz was just recommend your homemade bowl tutorial and it's description less sickassery !I think it's a genius idea!! I have a run in now but it will be awhile yet before I can make use of stems but I have a thick girl that's a perfect candidate. She asleep now in flower but I get pic tomorrow. My last runs bones are gone by now. I was just skimming thru the thread checking it out, mainly looking for the process of treating the cannabis stem, staining or or coating to prep the wood. Am I missing it ? Lol I am new to 420 so it's very possible lol.

Welcome to 420! If you go to the very first page, Parts 1 and 2 describe most of the fabrication process, while Part 3 walks you through the coating process. Then down a bit, you will see Part 4 where I explain the decorating portion of the pipe.
The cannabis stems do not take to stains very well, so on page 10 I describe giving the pipe a distressed look by lightly burning it before coating.
I would recommend reading through most of the post, as lots of folks get their questions answered and also share their pieces that they've created. Some really nice ones in there.
Good luck and if you do make one, please post some pics of it here to share. :Namaste:
