question for you Tassie that beach/marsh you're growing in is that fresh or salt water?
Hey @con, the water is definitely Saltwater, but it never gets anywhere close to the pots that the plants are in. So I never thought that could have an effect 🤔

Are the pots raised up above the ground, or is it in contact with it?

The pots are in contact with the ground, but they're up on the bank, which is a good 10 metres or more away from where the water can come close to reaching

maybe the salty air or salty mist or spray could effect your plants, i'm just taking a guess here

If there's been water there before there could be residual salt in the soil. Even if it doesn't reach there now.
There's the possibility that roots have penetrated the fabric pot, and grown into the soil.

I did kinda wonder this myself when I first decided to grow down there, but they've been completely healthy until this last week when I forgot to water for a bit 🤷‍♂️

Thats a good possibility, ill have to check the bottom of the pots when I'm down there next! That would actually make sense.
Maybe I should take a few bricks down and raise them off the ground a bit 🤔

Hey Tassie, I think it is a valid point that there may be roots reaching saline soil in the ground where the pots rest.

I don't think it is that though. I think you have yellowing leaves from water deprivation and the burnt leaf edges looks like a Potassium ask to me. Here is a blog on how to fix a Potassium deficiency. Incidentally, I think that this was also caused by a lockout due to unintentional droughting.

Thanks Carmen, I was more inclined to think that it had something to do with the drought as well, seeing as they were perfectly fine a week ago.
Next watering I'll give them a dose of GP nutrients and see if that helps aswell
