Very good brother... Happy this journey is just about over. What do you have planned for ur next grow
Thank you, its was a very gratifying experience.
I already started a new journal for my next grow. It is GS Cookies, the link is in my Sig. I just posted an update.
yes i can tell with a magnifier glass/scope. here is howAre you saying you can tell the sex of the seed before popped?
The myth of being able to tell whether your seeds are female or male before growing them has been debunked. I would not follow any information given on that chart.

I got a question mate, I just harvested my two skunk #1 automatic and it was my first time ever harvesting a plant so i trimmed it and put the buds in a glass jar? But i dident hang them to dry i put them directly into the glass jar and sealed it.
What should i do? Any advice?

And nice to see all those filled jars! <3
I did not use the boveda packs. I will pick some up to try, I'm leery of adding things like that to my medicine.Robert, your buds could mold in the jars if they were not dried properly. I'd spread them out on drying racks with a fan blowing on them for a few days. When you put them back in the jars, open them up for 15-30 minutes every day to exchange the air. I've got some 62% Boveda packs to add to my jars. These are 2 way humidity devices that will absorb humidity in excess of 62% and release humidity if the RH in the jar is <62%. They work great. I've used them with my cigars for 10+ years.
i love it.
take the buds out of jars 2 times a day and let them breath. yours look around 70% RH still since i jsut did BB's and know how they look as they dry/cure. if they are at 65% rh you will loose another 20% weight to cure. Yeah my buds wouldn't fit in the 1/2 gallon jars either bro. dont pack the jars so tight also. you want 30% air to bud min.
Bravo, Bravo....
That's it...LOL.

Thanks, see Maggie's response below. Get those buds out of the jars right away, let them dry first, you don't want mold. Mine were out a week before they went into jars.

Some say pack them tight some say loose, I packed them tighter because my understanding is the reason to put them in the jar is to even out the moisture level in the buds, and tighter makes more sense to me. I didn't jam them in there, but I filled them up pretty good, but there is still some space left.
Thanks
This is the first time I had ever heard of that. DC since you have evaluated those seeds, I guess it would be a good test, but those are old seeds, they may not germinate at all.
They were over ten years old and not stored in a freezer, in a film canister in a closet. And please don't discount old seeds. Mine are kept in the freezer. The last AG experiment seeds were in the freezer for over 2 years. They made it through 3 moves since then.
I will start marking mine from what i see and see how accurate it is. I got that from a friend who grows 4 10x12 rooms with reg seeds and he says it works as long as you can see and follow it. I followed it for sorting some blueberries for a friend and the are both female for him. I will have to put this to the test them. The myth of being able to tell whether your seeds are female or male before growing them has been debunked.
