TrysHards 3rd Grow - Sativa Cookies Hydro Grow

bro looks great. i see you forgot to wear the leather mask. you was really to nice to them. i would have bent them allot more let them know i am your master bow to me you no good rotten plant. then when they are all dried and cured its like oh baby i love you so much. lmao im high i think you are doing A+ bro. I give you a+ cause you are one busy man who takes the time to do it right and it shows. I am glad i am part of your grows here. hey have you thought about end of july for Michigan? i really want to meet and hang with you. If not dont worry in 2 years i will take a winter in cali. Well a month or so on my harley.

The little ladies are tough. See all those nodes on the stems it makes it really tough to bend. I am going to try to move the new light green growth. Its working and I have plenty of time. After breaking one off last time I'm a little more careful. Michigan won't be happening this year, I'm sure we will hook up some time. If you let me know and if you like to drive cars fast, I can set us up with some grassroots motorsports that I'm involved in. It would be a fun weekend, you could drive one of my Z's.

Hi Tryshard, i loved the intro and the detailed pictures of how you did transplanting etc :high-five:
I'll be grabbing a seat if i may
Welcome, been consumed with the Harvest of my blueberry plants, I will have an update soon, they have grown about 20%. I should have some new pictures tomorrow, I need to tighten up the training as soon they will be moving to the main tent, and this time I want the entire 4x4 area completely filled.

Bluberries are my favorite fruit well in the top 3 next to cherries and cantaloupe. Dont blueberries take 3 years before you get to harvest once?

Oh thought you meant blueberry plants. As in actual bluberries. Sorry

Subscribed TrysHard, rookie question: do you top or fim at all and if yes can you tell us when. I figured I'd ask you here because you are almost do with the BB. Thanks.

haha very funny. Tryshard have you started harvest yet? Mine blueberries are all down and done. I do love to smoke them. Have a great weekend all

I recently saw a documentary on Vermont where they grow blueberries and I think your right about the time it takes. For me its oranges, just off the tree I have several sources and its my favorite time of the year when they are being harvested. The whole area used to be planted in orange trees, hence Orange County.

In the pictures above I had already FIM'd them. I will take some more pictures soon after my harvest, they are coming along nicely. They will have to come out of the tent for a week. I have a place for them but they going to be under some CFL's for a week.

Very nice! I would say the dark green is nothing to worry about this early in veg, better than yellow or brown spots!:MoreNutes::goodjob::smokin2::goodluck:
Those were early pictures, I'll take some time tonight before my harvest to move these and take some pictures.

Ok some big changes. Due to my poor planning I have some plants totally out of sync with my grow space. So will the Blueberry Buds were hanging in the tent, the GS Cookies had to move to my cloning station and were watered by hand, which is not the best to do when your growing in Rockwool. Anyway the LST Blueberry is now in the little tent and the I have moved the GS Cookies into my main tent. I did rearrange things this time and there is more room in the tent for growth. I think I might try a 12 plant sog next time. Here they are in their new home, they did not take the move very well. I had gotten good root growth in my DIY Hydro system and when I pulled them out they had nice white roots coming out of the bottom of the pots. 1 Day in the cloning station the roots started to brown so I sped up the move to the tent.

As you can see I have maximized my grow space in the 4x4 tent.

I moved everything outside, so now I don't have to step around the plants to get to the timers, and the ballast. The control reservoir being outside freed up 1.5 sq feet of grow space alone. The ballast being outside should also help with heat.

Here are the plants in their new home. I have the main light currently set at 500W, and have two dual 48" florescent fixtures on each side. I also got a new fan for the light. I was using a booster fan before, now I have a full size cooling fan 6". But I ran out of aluminum tape and need to go to home depot tomorrow to hook up the ducting so right now its not hooked up. I'll just leave the tent open until I do.

Plant 2 this one suffered a light burn when one of the CFL's drooped down and rested on the plant and I didn't catch it right away. It had devastating effect and lost about 15% of the foliage on one side. I think it will be ok though. :

Plant 3: this is the dual stalk one, but it suffered a broken stalk. I hoping it comes back. I was going to clone it, but I want to try a perpetual grow with this plant for a few cycles, so there was no point. When these are ready for bloom I'll take clones for the next go around.

The plants suffered a bit, but I was expedient in correcting the issues so I should be good. Looking forward to these babies.

For your info I filled each pot first with a thin layer of hydroton, then Rockwool cubes around the plant and then a layer of hydroton over the top. My plan is to feed them three times a day 8 hours apart. The BB grow was twice a day every 12 hours. I need to get more info on Hydro feeding schedules. I've read lots of posts and many seem to skip over this detail.

My DIY Hydro will go back into service on the next go around as the Veg Station when these go to bloom.

Couple of bumps and bruises, but seems you got it all under control. Liking the cleaned up setup.

Its going to work great. The AC also blows on both reservoirs now helping keep them cool. I also have the air pumps going now in the reservoir, they weren't installed yet when I took the picture. I have two of them going. This setup also allowed me to route the hoses to the plants better with no chance of kinking.

question if you dim your light to 50% shouldn't you have a 600 watt bulb then? im told that dimming a bulb inst good for it.
I asked about that but the Store said that since I have a 1000W ballast I should only go with the 1000W Bulb. He wouldn't risk me turning a 600 bulb up to 1000W. Are they the same fixture?
