Troy's 2nd - Autos - DP Ultimate & Euphoria, Meph Alien v Tangle, RQS Diesel

Troy, from one retiree to another I hope to do as well as you have. you have set the bar HIGH.

Thanks for the compliment. I am still learning. Each grow gives me more insight into good growing techniques. It also helps to get some great growers here to mentor me along the way.

It does help being retired where you can attend to them a couple times a day. I am sure I will continue to use CoCo. It makes things so controllable and makes it almost impossible to overwater.

PT - thanks. I'm not sure if it is the constant watering that keep the pots damp but I still am battling Fungus Gnats. After putting sand on top it helped but saw some fly's coming out the drain holes today. Darn those buggers.

I just gave the girls a dose of Hydrogen Peroxide. I hope that will knock out the larvae.

May 10, 2018

Spent about an hour this morning re-installing my auto watering system. This time I also installed some quick connect/disconnect fittings on the drip lines. I don't recall who turned me on to them but ---- Thank you. Will really help when I have to remove a plant from the tent.

This should really cut down on my daily watering time. I've missed having it working on the new girls.

Mrs G - In flower - just the slow wait to bloom completion. The colas continue to pack in but hard to tell much day to day change.

... edibles scare me ... i dont wanna try it one night and still be skyhigh the next morning for work ... but they look very deli

Never had that happen. Edibles take about 1-2 hours to get into your system and last for about 4 hours. I use tincture nightly for insomnia and wake up bright eye and busy tailed.

It will be fun to try them later tonight. The most difficult thing with edibles is figuring out how potent the butter was. I'm going to try tonight with just one cookie and go from there. Well a glass of milk might be mandatory.

take complete milk ... ad some cacao powder and some cream and some hash .... heat it slowly on the stove ... and voila infused cacaomilk ;)

all caught up once again! That harvest was impressive! Cant wait to hear how it smokes! That next round looks to be filling in nicely as well! Will be a while before you run out thats for sure! Keep it up!
:goodjob:

Thanks PJS - I've been trimming the buds off the dried colas and jarring them up. Now all I need to do is get them all to cure and stabilize the humidity. I have a feeling I'm going to be taking time off from growing for awhile. My objective when I started was to grow enough to last me until the middle of November. I definitely have enough to last me a long time.

Troy, your still knocking it out of the park.

Couple of questions for ya.
how do you control run off / overflow?
Do you flush your pots?
How can you tell when they need water and how much?

last question, who ate all the cookies?

Thanks @Zincite - I am at least still trying.

For run off I have some deep saucers that are about 3-4 inches wider than the base of the pots. I raise the pots up by about 2 inches using some 6x6x2 paving bricks. I only do flushing if I see that a plant is struggling and getting tip burn.

I basically just water to run off. In the big tent I have an auto watering system that waters them 3x a day (I'm in CoCo). In the smaller tent I'm hand watering 2 to 3x a day.

For the run off I use a small wet/dry shop vac and suck the water up out of the pots

This one shows the paver stone in the saucer

This shows the vacuum attachment and how i suck out the run off. I lifted the pot so you could see the paver. I don't lift the pot to vacuum.

In CoCo it is almost impossible to over water so I just feed them 2 to 3x a day.

Happy Saturday all. I can't believe another week has flown by

Mrs G - Continues her bloom and buds are mostly clear still. The buds are really nice an firm.

Mrs G - Rev 1 (the clone) Got some super cropping as she was getting leggy
