Troy's 2nd - Autos - DP Ultimate & Euphoria, Meph Alien v Tangle, RQS Diesel

Thanks Troy, I will bring mostly rain gear but now I know I can bring a couple of summer things too! Wooooop, I am getting out my summer bins and its snowing here:D

I really appreciate all of your suggestions, thanks again:)

I will be there in the next week, likely Thursday or Friday:eek:

Good time - long range forecast is predicting clear skies and temperatures during the day of 15-17 C. Night time temps will drop to about 10 C. (that's in the City).

Daily stretch - Mrs G popped another 2 inches. I had to raise the lights as the plant was getting too close. Starting to figure out how much taller she will grow. I may have to resort from some super-cropping.

Mrs G - Rev 1 had a LST to her main Cola to allow the others catch up. She is in a small 1 gallon pot so hoping she will stay small.

I have a question to all of you.

Do you re-use your nutrient runoff. The CoCo I'm using for my little girls is very porous and I get about 50% runoff regardless of the amount I'm watering. They are getting watered 2-3x per day. Seems like a waste to dump out. I've been checking it and the PPM is almost the same as what I'm putting in.

For the past week I've been reusing it mostly on my bigger plants. I figured if you can re-use it for up to a week in DWC I should be in ok shape. So far not seen any negative reaction.

I've never used my runoff but i dont grow in coco so not the best person to answer this. If you are getting 50% runoff though you may want to cut back on how much you water, or slow down the flow to make sure it's not just running straight through. That said your plants are huge so maybe dont change a thing.

Reuse it....nothing wrong with it unless the nutrients are too high or the pH is all wacky. I would keep it out of the light though. Don't want to get an algae thing going bad.

But just my opinion.

Thanks SF. My big girls aren't much of a problem as they don't have much runoff. I mixed two different brands of CoCo in my first grow and it is much better at absorption. Plus the big girls are really drinking at this point about 4 liters per plant a day. Roots must really be thick as I can even see them on the top of the pot.

I'll probably keep using it and see what they do. If I see anything negative I'll cut it out.

Thanks for weighing in on it. I have been using the runoff on my big girls as their fertilizer mix is higher than the teenagers.

Do you check ppm
As long as ph and ppm are within range you should be ok using the run off

Yes... I check the PPM in both reservoir (one is Grow for the seedlings and the other is the Bloom Mixture). I mix to about 800-850 ppm for both. The runoff which is a mixture of both is also around 800 ppm.

I only use the runoff for the Big Girls who drink it up readily.

I just was checking in on the girls and giving them their evening watering. Dee's buds are still swelling and are really dense. Puts a smile on my face.
:)

I can never say much about Troys grows.....they always look sooo good.

I think he has it down to a science mostly.

Great job.....:thumb:

Helen has a deficiency looks like shes light on Mg

I was thinking the same thing today and gave her a dosage of Cal-Mag this morning. Really strange that she is the only one that was showing the sign. I also gave her a foliar feed of it this afternoon.

Some of the leaves on Alison - Rear Right - are showing signs of yellowing. Up until now none of my plants in flower were showing any leaf die off. I was expecting Dee to show some signs as she is getting close to chop.
