Troy's 2nd Grow — DP Auto Ultimate & Euphoria, Meph Alien v Tangle Auto, RQS Die

Started Germination Today 1/13/2017

I decided to use the germination method of soaking my seeds in water over night and then put into moist paper towel.

Here's my initial line up - May have some pinch hitters hop in if any of the girls don't make the first inning.

Dutch Passion - Auto Ultimate (2 each)
Dutch Passion - Auto Euphoria
Dutch Passion - Auto Daiquiri Lime
Mephisto - Alien v Tangle Auto (freeby)
Royal Queen Seeds - Diesel Auto (freeby)
I see you rate the dutch passion autos. Im looking into getting some autos. Any reccomendations?

Amazon finally delivered my new purchases. I added a 48" LED Utility light in the tent to used when taking pictures.

Also plant name stakes arrived so I don't mix the girls up. I also got some padded plant wire to use for LST.

I'm not sure what I will do with the girls yet. Considering topping the ones in the rear as they are going to be hard to get to. LST on the front ones.

Hard to tell from pix but there are 6 each 7-gallon bags in there.
Consider the bottle idea officially stolen lol.

Hi Slylikeafox - All I'm growing this season is Autos. I couldn't understand why anyone would grow them when I first started but have been favorably impressed.

My main reason for trying Autos was that I have a lot of travel plans this year starting on July 1. I got back from a 6 week trip in January and had just under 6 months to grow my complete year's needs. The first grow was going longer than expected so I started my second crop early than I had originally expected.

I don't have any idea how much I'll get off the plants but can tell you that Olga and Dee are going to produce well.

The Seedlings - Day 19 All of the seedlings have been topped and some are starting LST

Ina-May - The giant is grow much larger than her sisters.

Not sure what I'm seeing. But I love it. You start training eeeaaarrllyy huh. If I knew you could start that early I would have.

I've found that you can start real early with training. Autos grow so quick that I need to start early. I start strapping them down and then when the shoots start coming in I train them laterally to create more and more bud sites.

Couple Trich Shots of Dee - Day 70 - suppose to be a 70 day variety. I'm guessing I have 2-3 weeks more.

Sometimes things are just moving quickly within a few days. That s what I experienced in my last grow. My green crack went from clear trichomes to cloudy and few brown within 3 to 4 days. Maybe also It just took time to start when you flipped. Can't wait to see the result! I m starting chopping on Sunday one green crack and one tutankhamon. I m so impatient even if they won't be high yielders

Seedlings - Day 21 - Lots of LST and some pony tailing.

Didn't you put them too deep in the media? I ve read that planting too deep is not good for oxygen to the roots. Maybe that's also why there not taller? Remember mine at day 23 in soil after topping and except if they are small because of genetic they should ve been bigger in coco

I hope you understand I'm just sharing not criticizing in any case :):peace::)

Thanks Flash- I will keep an eye on them. It's an Auto so not sure that the flip date March 6 ( flower initiation) really matters. The Colas are filling in nicely but haven't really swollen to the size I'm expecting. I'll keep a daily watch on them.

Never buried this deep so unsure. I don't expect problems with o2 to the roots as I'm in CoCo and they seem to get plenty of air. I guess I'll just have to see how they do now as I can't go back and raise them.

I know you re a good grower so I don't have any doubt. It makes sense that even if it s deep as it s coco it has plenty of oxygen. :goodjob:
