I really believe that many things about growing are tribal lore. My reference on the Auto-Clock came from Royal Queen Seed website. The have a very interesting discussion of Fact vs Myth.

Will be interested to see how she is doing in the morning. She looks good tonight and hasn't shown any signs of wilting. The shoot from Mrs G is only 18 days old so not close to flowering yet. I'm wondering if she was so brittle due to the use of Silica Blast.

I just checked on her before I came up for dinner and she is looking FANTASTIC! I think I had fimmed her instead of a full topping and what broke off was the sprout that came out of the FIM. I'll just consider that she got the remainder of her topping.

I just checked on her before I came up for dinner and she is looking FANTASTIC! I think I had fimmed her instead of a full topping and what broke off was the sprout that came out of the FIM. I'll just consider that she got the remainder of her topping.
The way your plants look i'm sure you will still make her beautiful!

February 24, 2018 - Chilly night here, down to 34F today, which is really unusual for the SF bay area. Lucky the ambient temperature in may garage is only down to 65. The temperature in the tent stayed at 80F with the fan turned down.

I got so excited for ya troy lol. 
Thats what i love about autos they surprise ya. You never know what they will turn into, photos are like that too but you have a lot more control over how big they get. You may want to lollipop them a bit in a week or so once they have stretched some.. your autos are a lot bigger then mine have gotten.
