Trouble & Strife & Some Things Nice - Mr A Goes Perpetual Again!

Stoney Sunday Update

Good evening all and welcome to a jam packed update.

Yesterday morning, I set about reinstating the veg space. I had it all planned out, Lazy morning, get up around 11am, brew and joint, then get set up and then to collect ladies to fill it later in the afternoon.

It didn't work out that way. Pigeons420 sprang an early wake n bake, at just before 12.30 (normally about 3pm UK time). 3 hoots in I knew plans were changing. I got the veg room finished but missed the window on collecting my ladies.

I had plans this morning to help my kid brother swop the engine out of his Honda. We had it all planned out. Arrive at 8, drop the old engine in the bin and bolt in the new one, Straight swop he said, 4 hours max.

It didn't quite work out that way. The old engine came out in 40 minutes. The new one? Well, That took 8 hours before we had it running but this opened a window to collect some ladies.

apologies in advance for the crappy pictures....

I have 3 plants and a number of clones in there. Clones are of the Northern Lights and Critical Jack, both 110days, I dropped off at his place so long ago and the strain I've been bugging him for since I started growing, Stardawg. They are all in cups of straight up tap water as I have no cloning supplies till I can visit the grow shop tomorrow.

The 3 plants are the same ones I dropped off with my buddy before the seeds had even popped through the soil and still sit in the same solo cups some 69 days later.
They are...

Im having problems in here, Liberty Haze, 110 days from seed, 28 days since flip, is too big. I've pulled her down that much I've split her down the middle and she still burns her buds up on the light. I'm still not sure what I'm gonna do with her.

Well that's it for today, it's been a busy weekend and I must sleep. I hope you all had a great weekend, I'll be seeing you through the week.

:passitleft:

Those are some serious bonsai babies he grew for you. I'm absolutely amazed at how well he kept them going! :thedoubletake: Trunks that could support trees! Damn! Give him my pat on. The back for a job well done. :bravo:

I feel your pain with the LH. Once they get going like that it's nearly impossible to reign them back. I went through hell with the Devil's Carnival that determined to be 7'! It forced me to rearrange all of my grow spaces. It'll still be a couple months before I have things back to a normal flow.

You could chop the tops and use them as food, then let the rest of the plant do what it will. The parts you'd harvest would make some delicious omelettes. :battingeyelashes:

That Solo WW looks photoshopped. :)
Wtf? Big Trunk lil cup. ;)

:thumb:Them in the solo cups have great trunks on them , will you move them into larger pots or keep them in the cups?
:passitleft:

Them cups do look great, they all got potted up last night. 2 into 1 gals and the other into a half gallon, I have a plan.......

High Sue

he did get a big pat on the back, he pulled me out of a spot and did a real good job of it too. He has been my goto guy for years and always did have good product on hand. I only found out he grew his own when I started over 3 years ago, he's been growing for 10+ years.

I have a plan for big libby, she is getting pulled at the weekend and will go into the hash bag for concentrates, being replaced by 2 of the cup girls.

Haha, no photoshopping here, apparently, that's what 70 days under a 1200w Mars led being fed GET nutrients does. He keeps 3 bonsai mums that he's had for years, he's quite the hand at small pots. :passitleft:

Another Late Update

Good evening all and welcome to another installment. I should change update day to Mondays since Sunday is becoming a busy day for me. I will change it, starting now.

Marvellous Monday Update

So what's happening in the gardens this week? The big girl, Liberty Haze has taken up new residence in the freezer. I got fed up looking at crispy tops so cut her down and replaced with something a little more suitable to my small flower box.
I've also had a change in nutrient line. I'm now using advanced nutrients ph perfect 3 part base range. I'm gonna add the boosters as time goes on. I hope they keep my plants green and healthy. Well, Shall we look at them?

I've been meaning to stop and talk about this White Widow.

Ever since I watched the Sacred Plant series I've been thinking about what Dr. Courtney's wife said about starting one seed a day and growing them in solo cups. Then, when you start harvesting you'll have at least 1/2 ounce of fresh bud for juicing every day. I've never grown one out in a solo cup, so I guess that'd be the best place to start. I'd like to try it hempy, if possible.

What did it take to keep this plant going so well?

I have that sponsored tent, and when the Carnival in there finishes up in a couple months I'm thinking about giving the solo cup method a try for at least a few months. I'll have to balance everything else out so I don't run out of meds while I play, but I may be able to pull off something interesting. It's the space consideration that's tripping me up, but then I haven't tried to line up solo cups in a 2x2 configuration to see how many would fit.

Oooooo....I have a hearty supply of DDA seeds from Rifleman. That'd make for some pretty little trees. I bet I could entice more of those genetic bundles to show up in my seed bank too. :battingeyelashes:

You know me, always the curious explorer. :laughtwo:

My brownie's starting to kick in. Time for that walk along the river in the sunlight I promised myself. Have fun playing with the engine. You'll be so pleased with yourself when it's done, and Mrs A will be so appreciative that you care enough to sacrifice a Saturday for her. :kisstwo:

High Sue. Home and warm with a working car and a fat joint.

Them solo cups, I can't take the credit for them I'm afraid. I gave them to a buddy when they were just seeds in soil and he raised them for 70 days. I up canned them within days of getting them back. I've never kept one in a cup that long myself but as far as I'm aware other than watering everyday, sometimes twice, nothing is different. On his bonsai mum's he trims the root system every year or so.

There are a few solo cup journals around here, some still current.

I've been wanting to try hempy for a while, i have cups, seeds and ph perfect nutrients but no perlite. I'll see about picking some up this week, I'm sure I can squeeze a couple of cups in the flower space. I bet if I was running just cups I could get 9 in there, veg time dependant.
