That's GG#4 from Seedman maybe 3 weeks before the start of chopping. They're mostly clear and still forming
So ... I got it wrong ... good practice ... I thought cloudy ...

Look right in the middle at the top of the picture and you'll see they are clear not cloudy. So in this picture I am not seeing any amber ... and more cloudy than clear.
It's definitely harder when all the trichomes are not in focus.
Thanks for the picture!
Yes, handholding the camera is tough as heck; almost as tough as uploading one's first pictureHere are the pictures I took August 17, 2019 that I tried to use high magnification with.
It was ridiculously difficult without a stand!!!

Just a suggestion. I take a razor knife and take a small slice off of a bud in the area of the plant I want to check the trichromes. You set it on a flat surface on a black piece of paper or similar. Then use the stand as it was meant to be used and zoom in on the bud. Remove a portion of a bud and not sugar leaves.
Depth of field is not all that great with these scopes so look for a small, flat area on a bud and remove that.
To tell the truth, I use my cheap $2.06 60x pocket microscope a lot more than my xploview.
I’m in the same range as you with my current harvest. Very close. Also have some hairs although likely my own. Bud wash for sure lol.
I think I am gonna harvest this weekend/Friday. Seems like it’s been a long haul but we are at the end of the trip and ready for the next one.
