Cleo has been topped, and the queen now has the veg tent to herself.

So far everything is going to plan. This usually means the wheels will fall off any day now…

Speaking of misfits, I'm so glad to find this cache of like folk :hookah: :circle-of-love:!

Last grow for me was Wedding Cake and Dod-Si-Do. They both did very well. I don't agree but Everyone that tokes on them thinks Wedding Cake is the best weed ever! Have fun!

Hi Team.

I have had to deviate slightly from the plan. Omg does that mean switch up or freak? Coz I mean switch up lol.

So sadly my plants aren’t growing as compactly as Carcasses, which is really fucking me off tbh. The other thing is I kept Node 1, because I feel they are strong and show promise.

First up, I read the directions TWICE, and prepared myself.

So as you can see, my top training nodes aren’t yet mature enough to Carhook™️. I felt I had to start Carhooking™️ now because my lower branches were becoming a trainable length. I have already realised my first training mistake when training before. I always hooked from the top and worked my way down, when I should have started from the bottom and worked my way up.

So my plant height is too tall for regular skewers, so I need to extend them when the top two branches are ready. If anyone has tips on how to keep plants smaller I’m eager to learn.

I want to say with zero fuck ups, but as you can see, Cleo is a little light in colour. The reason, I was feeding her fucking plain water instead of Tega Brop *taps nose*.

Sorry, T, I didn't even think about that till you just mentioned it-
From the time they sprout, you need to keep them under "almost too much" light- they won't get leggy that way.
You keep that up for the first ten days, then they can take less light without stretching.
It's not a big deal if they're taller, though- you just need longer hooks...
Cleo looks excellent, btw (as do all of them!)

Do you think the cpl lux is interfering with the cpl mondo, or do I need to reduce the cpl jajingo, lower the cpl mms, increase the cpl fafafajingo, modify the cpl m&ms, tweak the cpl spritzinga and sprinkle just a hint of the cpl blazinga?

Seriously though if you can get a proper light measurement from @Carcass you could compare.

Essentially though I think what he was trying to say is get your seedling close to the light source so when it grows enough to shift to the veg tent light it will be fine.

The initial bulb should be close and well lit. I like to use a blue spectrum high wattage cfl (or newer style led style bulb.) I can pop up some examples of brand and specs if you like. You can basically sit it dead under the light and it still wont be affected by any radiant heat. Blue is meant to be better for shorter plants. Thats Science for ya.

By using that early your node spaces should be tighter as wont stretch (get leggy) for the light source. And once she (or they) go under the big light they will have good short frames.

I don’t do science, Deeve. You just tell me what to buy and I’ll buy it. Should I have kept it under the lamp maybe? Coz I think it’s just that. Mars TS too far away coz it was accommodating Mopey Maya.

For using a veg light youll need others help, but it can be done.

That said, I don’t want to fuck about too much with light sources tho. I’ve got the sun. The leccy light is just a top up.
 
Hi Tra! I use some good little lights for seedlings. They can sit right above them and there is literally no heat and I don’t often have leggy seedlings. I got them for about half the price they are listed for, but they’ve come down about $30 USD in the last few weeks. I can’t figure out how to take a fucking picture and post it so I will send you a PM with the link if you’d like? :laughtwo:

And hi :)

My last 5 seeds have all been too tall. Waaaaay too tall. I want to grow more compact plants with an even canopy, basically exactly how you grow. Your plants are just amazing. If Carcass is my king, you are my queen when it comes to growing. I appreciate the work you put in. Hopefully one day I’ll get there.

Omg don’t bother. It’s just the same old same old skullfuckery bruv.

I’m doing a perpetual grow, it’s meant to be a two seedling, two veg, two flower. I have four in flower, one in veg and no seedlings, so yeah, so far I’ve fucked the whole process right up good and proper. Lollllll
