Thank You, GF! That's what I'm hoping for!We wish great health to all
Thanks so much for the kind words, Trala...He’s so clever!
Best grower I’ve ever seen in my whole life!
Actually, you were pretty damn good at it before I came along! So true.

They're a little time investment during the second 30 days of their lives, but after that (If we're lucky) they're pretty much on cruise control till the end, unless they do some crazy stretching after 12/12- if so, you'll need to make adjustments accordingly...Them training techniques are awesome and work really well.
Tag me when/if you do- I'll help any way I can!I've not done lst before. just topping i might bend some branches down this time round and try get a wider canopy.
Ye no worries man al grab some. That would be sweet bro im 10 days in after sprout so should be coming up soon I think? I just have a question and Im not sure if al be sounding stupid by asking lol but by using the hooks and holding a stem with it what does that technique do to the plant?Thank You, GF! That's what I'm hoping for!
Thanks so much for the kind words, Trala...
I'm speechless .....(but big smiling)

(but it's really cool that you like my grow method)

You might want to make some of these if you do decide to do some training...there's other ways to do it, but the hooks are sooo easy to use...
Well, tying the main branches down seems to stimulate side branching on them, so you'll end up with 4,what does that technique do to the plant?
Thanks for explaining mate. Thats a whole lot of branches lol it seems I need to find a way of tying them down to something as I can see them at the side are holding onto something underneath.Well, tying the main branches down seems to stimulate side branching on them, so you'll end up with 4,
6 or 8 main branches, and at least 30 "secondary" branches, and each one of them will grow into a bud..the secondary branches are the ones that'll eventually make up a lot of the canopy, and they're the ones that need training to keep that canopy nice n flat.
You can see here that the lions share of the colas end up coming from the secondary branches- they tend to be a bit smaller than the main branch colas, but there's about 30 of them, so you end up with quite a bit of w

Bonus al defo have a look thanks man. Would these skewers be long enough?
Would these skewers be long enough?
Sounds like a plan mate. So when I get them i just bend a branch down? Can tell ive never done it lolThey will, they're the right length, but if the shaft is square, they may not work as well as something with a round shaft- dollar store skewers are perfect for it, and they're about a penny apiece...
That's pretty much how you start- when they're little you need to be very careful with the branchesso when I get them i just bend a branch down?
No time like the present- give it a try, I think you'll dig the resultsCan tell ive never done it lol
Thanks carcass this has made it clearer for me much appreciated. And its funny you say that because they are 3inch now lol at 11 days from sprout. I reckon in a few days time it'll be good timing for them to start. Al post pics on my thread, see what you think. That's pretty much how you start- when they're little you need to be very careful with the branches
because they break off real easy- especially the top 2 branches- (if you top the plant) they seem to break off a lot easier than the others.
My whole procedure is designed for a topped plant, btw...
I top above node #4, usually they're 12-16 days old when they get topped.
5 or 6 days after topping, the branches will be long enough to start (carefully) training them.
And, the shorter the seedling when you start training, the better.
Mine are usually 2.5 - 3" tall when I top them.
Plenty of light, immediately after they sprout, will keep them small for ya...

Like C Sunset says, thanks for taking an interest in this comparative grow. It’s actually my favourite way to grow, along side your friends that is, and word of warning, my goal is to grow a plant with every single fucking one of you! Not even joking! Xo
She's looking real good, T!
I think she's gonna fill in real well by flip time- you know how much they can change in a short time- Olivia will be a supermodel by two weeks from now, I can see it...
