Trala’s Tent

Clutching. My. Pearls!

I’m hoping you were talking about eating chicken wings! Coz otherwise bruv, again, you’re doing it wrong.

I know how to plant a seed. This is not my first rodeo. I think it was defective. I’m all about sharing and highlighting mistakes and learning from them together in here. I’m 97% sure it wasn’t user error.
I was talking about removing shells from seeds. If it grew there was nothing wrong with it

Oh I see.

That’s the thing. It wasn’t going to grow. It was going to stall. It was never going to be able to remove that husk. It was firmly shut.
I’ve pulled a few miracles out my ass taking off seed helmets but that one did look challenging. Sometimes better to move on, I currently have a gimp (no helmet) and have to decide if it’s getting chopped 😝 No time for slackers

I’m all about saving a freak.

Yeah I’ll he’d back to the drawing board and cross my fingers I can wake the pineapple :)

Your dad will have to wait :)

Do you soak your seeds first, some hard-shelled seeds need it.
You can also scuff lightly w/ fine sandpaper

I'm guessing you never went & looked at my experiment on growing shell less seeds
Sorry for your loss :Namaste:
Ps I also would not give up on your seedling just yet. give it a few days to see if the one wing gets green & a center starts to grow

Yeah nah. I put them straight into dirt.

I’m all about keeping it simple.

I’m usually okay with seeds. I mean I’m no seed whisperer, but I can count on one hand how many have failed since joining in 2020. Most times they failed coz I dug em up at Day 4 coz I couldn’t wait lolling. I actually dug that Tropicanna up, freaked out when I saw the root and reburied it lolling! Her grave was shallow that’s why she was still wearing a hat. She’s my only other helmet head. Well as far as I can remember.

Thanks for your input, Joe. I do appreciate it.

I’m all about the mong!

Save herrrrrrrrrr!

Speaking of mongs. Look at this fucking idiot madly putting her plants out in the pouring rain in her nightie. I’d just given them a good nit spray when Mother Nature stepped up and offered to rinse them for me.

She prolly felt bad over helmet head.

Great start to the day. 8am, soaking wet and freezing.

Lolling!

Yeah nah, that’s not why. It contributes fo sho, but you get spidermites both indoors and outdoors. That’s why treatments are such a huge seller lol.

The secret to controlling spidermites is keeping your grow space clean, daily inspections, keeping optimal plant health and treating prophylactically. Well I think that’s the secret.

The flowering girls stay indoors. They only come out to be treated if needed. A fortnight from harvest I usually just take affected leaves.

I’m moving into warm insect loving weather. I watch my girls like a hawk.

The yard is looking great this year! All that work you two did is beautiful! It hosts your Bees well!
Thanks Mr Oh! Oh! Oh!

😘😘😘

We are still doing the pool. We had concrete poured, and my man is going to tile the remaining area, starting today actually. I say “we”. I bark orders and supply cold drinks and lunch and he does the grunt work lol. Should be done by the end of October. A 3 week job has turned into a 3 month job.

I'll bet Aussie spider mites are more lethal than those in the U.S. Shit, everything else is. :)

I think ours are a tiny bit bigger than yours.

Here’s one I plucked off yesterday.
