Omg you know how I’m a bit XTra? Well one word people! Resin! And I’m not talking hash lolling!

I desperately wanted to keep my Tropicanna Banana seed husk and my boyfriend suggested resin, so I turned on the stove, and got the knives thinking he had a block (only us old stoners will get hot knives lol), and an idea was born.

I’m going to make an dangly ornament thingy using Pee Bee’s skeleton as my base.

Granted my first attempt was a bit shit. I need to work out what pen works with resin, coz a ball point don’t!

My grow room gives me life. I contradicts my anti clutter rules. I’m always so happy in there. It’s my one place that’s just for me.

So as far as my Bloom Room goes, everyone is BIG SMILING.

And my nearly cooked Eva looks like royalty. It’s kinda rainy here today so she has to stay inside.

My Wookie Auto on the other hand continues to be stressed. I tried to fim the new grow. For now there will be no more topping.

Now, while we are on the topic, I just want to say thanks Tra, for everything you do for me, and what we discuss grow wise.

You bring thoughtfullness and insight, and always add something interesting, for example sun vs leds, necrosis and endocrinology, leaf angle and light intensity,watering and environment, and bringing all your mis-steps to the table for others to learn from. (while also questioning my mothers choices while I was in utero 😆. Not sure everyone gets that sort of humour)

Not everyone gets to see all of your well thought out concepts and garden knowledge, so thanks for sharing in the growmie spirit, credit to you. Underrated in my book.

Oh and good job on the resin pours, looks great!

It was a real team effort lol. I really hope he does. I’ve snuck some seeds in there. One of them is my favourite seed ever. And it’s legit my last one. It’s a Barney’s Farm Mimosa EVO. And it hurt my heart to let it go. But true giving means giving till it hurts a bit. When you give someone something that means nothing to you, you’re not really giving. Well I don’t think you are.

Joe is such a good egg. He is my people. Hopefully VS will light up his day.

Well I’m big smiling. Thank you for saying all that. It made me feel really good. I do put thought into plants, a lot of thought, and I think I do know stuff. Tbh I often feel my input is disregarded when I offer plant advice, mainly coz I keep it simple in an age where people want to spend money and overly complicate ie pH, CalMag, root feeders, nitrates, and so on. And it does sometimes hurt my feelings because I do think I can contribute. Lol

And while I’m sure your mum took a little somethin somethin while preggers with you, it has made you the lovable cretin you are.

For those of you who don’t know, my friend Joe lost everything in a once in a lifetime (hopefully) flood. He has pics in his thread. Randar won a light through a VP competition and super generously donated it to Joe. Because New Zealand is a backward country full of sheep fucking Neanderthals VP understandably don’t post there. So I offered to receive the light and forward it on.

And today it takes flight! Day after ANZAC Day and all! Xo

I remember hot knives!

We would cut the bottom off a gallon milk jug and use it as an upside-down funnel. Take two butter knives and heat up the tips on the stove until red hot, then drop a small chunk of hash on the tip and smash both knives together. Catch the smoke in the funnel and inhale.

Is that how you did it?

Yes it ruins the butter knives.

Hey @stinker! I got a call from the photo lab. You’re on the wall of grow memories bruv.

I seriously am sentiMental. For me its like having a secret garden where cyber friendship and love comes alive and takes form.

Omg I sound fucking crazy even to me! I got a pic looking at the room from the other end of my Bloom Room. That’s how I enter in the morning then exit at the end of the day, after I put them to bed. I have to part and struggle through a wall of doona and fabric. It’s like exiting the birth canal, twice, every single fucking day.

Omg it’s my first day back after 11 off. I’m so nervous! After a break I always think I’ve forgotten how to nurse lol.

Hello you!

That’s the thing about my go back to work nerves. The process and outcome is always the same.

I go in thinking everyone has realised my ward runs better without me, my peeps make a fuss to see me back and within 27 seconds I’m back into nurse mode. I don’t know why I do it. It’s just annoying.

Our 67 year old Orca Nurse retired yesterday. We call her Aunty G. So there was a nice luncheon and after work frothies.

I’m a night shift tonight so northern hemisphere I’m comin for you!
