Barney Fife was a fiction character in the 1960's US TV show, Andy Griffith Show. He was a bumbling Sheriff's Deputy in a small town.

Prior post reference...The officer that he was trying to complain about was the Police Chief. He called back the next day too and tried that shit with the Deputy Chief. After 5 minutes of doing that to the Deputy Chief, the Deputy Chief gave him 5 minutes of reply in the same manner. The caller settled down and they spoke for another 20 minutes in a civil tone.

I was a Vampire for 14 years and just became a day walker in the last month.

Life is so weird. In Bed 11 I had a woman who tried to kill herself by eating Ratsack while pissed and sobby then decided against it after she ate it and rang the ambulance and in Bed 14 I had a man with pancreatic cancer who is desperate to live and will find out today his cancer has metastasised. Two opposite ends. One decided to try and die, while the other is desperate to try and live. Bloke in Bed 14 has two sons, both in their teens. Just so sad. And I know by 10am his day will become sadder.

Anyhoo enough of that shite. I’ve clocked off. I’m gonna snooze then get some brand new sheets on my bed. And it’s Sunday so summary time! And I have a whole day to myself!

Can literally find humour just about anywhere. I really can.

I had a guy on Friday. Admitted with what he thought was a urinary tract infection. Simple fix. Doctors found a tumour on his CT. They delivered the news to both he and his wife, I was there. Consultant is 95% sure it’s colon cancer with lymph involvement which suggests it’s spread. I first held the wife, then her husband. Both crying. Both shell shocked. Just a really nice couple. Both in their 80’s, both still independent. We talked about death, sickness, accidents, how something gets us all. Couple of hours passed, I was doing his BP, and he looked at me and said “do you know I’ve never even drank or smoked”. Immediately me: Well there’s probably never been a better time to start…

The 3 of us creased lolling.

Sunday Summary

I’ve had a good grow week. No real dramas. No signs of spidermites so hopefully I headed them off. Each plant has a beautiful shade of green. It’s like the verdant variation lol. All very different, but all bang on perfect.

Kk on with the news, I curse myself daily for supercropping this plant. Not even joking. She’s showing signs of heat stress. Well I think it’s heat stress. Those white hairs in her bud. It’s really hot in the Bloom Room. 30+. I can’t risk her outside coz of the summer rain, bud rot danger. She has beautiful bud. Well I think she does.

I normally don't dream, but I've been vaping some OGesus this week before bedtime. I've dreamt twice, and both times my mom has shown up. She passed away 2 years ago. We had a very strained relationship until a couple years before she died. The common theme in both dreams, we were arguing. No surprise. The last dream, my wife joined in on my mom's side. The reason my wife chimed in is because she was trying to get me mad enough to choke her because that turned her on sexually. I told my wife about the dream afterwards. She's suggesting that I lay off the OGesus, but it's been one of the favorite strains I've tried so far, despite the freaky dreams.
