I’m doing so good. I’m on holidays in one of Australia’s coolest cities. I’m going to be museum hopping today, then I’ll be at the MCG tonight - hopefully watching the Cats take down Carlton. I wear a footy jersey and all. A secret between us. I’m a proper Queenslander. I couldn’t give a fuck about the AFL.

And no, the Sherbet is still drying/curing. I’ve left my son in charge of minding it. I’ve taken it from the fridge to jars. He is going to my house twice a day, if it gets over 70% humidity in a jar, he shakes it out onto a basket and leaves it out to breathe overnight. I was worried about it over drying in the fridge.

So I got to spend the day in the snow yesterday. It’s my second time, and it was just as magical and fun as my first time. Though by the end of the day, and after suffering numerous spills, I was glad to get back to warm and dry.

I thought of you guys while I was there too :)

Ive heard good things about melbourne would love to go 1 day. I never even knew about the fridge drying thing until been on this site lol :thumb: . Hope you enjoy rest of ur hols and when ur back take some pics of those buds :Namaste:.

It’s been fucking awesome.

I so needed to get away. I’ll be flying out tomorrow then going on a road trip to a cabin off the grid! No internet for 3 nights! It actually looks awesome. Pool table, board games. Sauna. It’s in a spot in Queensland called the Bunya Mountains. Cold as fuck.

Where are you? I’ve forgotten.

Funnily enough I had a mate ask me earlier this week to go to the snow (old boss) Thought Id be moving so I said no. This is why we avoid the place you went, its where the wealthy go to holiday and teach their kids to ski who eventually grab snowboards and go where we go.

They even named the gentle snow run Bourke Street! As a proud (but poor bred) Victorian I hate that place. Its nice you got to enjoy!

Well it was 3 degrees C yesterday at the ski resort. To a Queenslander that’s like hell froze over freezing.

We’re goin to Bonnie Doon was defs the answer I was looking for, I would have accepted “how’s the serenity”. Made my partner slow so I could get you a pic of that sign btw.

Fun fact: I was yesterday years old when I found out it was an actual place!

Omg the fucking snobbery at that resort! Frozen faces, and not from the cold either, and lip filler was far and wide. Lots of fat spoiled little children pushing past you. I had the best day tho. Me and a gaggle of fat spoiled kids built a snowman, which ended in a snow fight. Teach the little fuckers to take me on! And when I say that I actually mean I was snow ball bullied by four fat rich children!

You certainly turned on a perfect day for us :)
