Trala’s Tent

Hi Tra, I didn't realize that you had this journal on the go too. Glad to have discovered it. I also mistook Maya for Cleo at first. Good luck with the seed. Sorry for the suffering that you take on on behalf of the family who lost their loved one. I know you're hanging in there, but hugs from South Africa.

Well, well. That Wedding Cake seems fairly short compared to the others. How did that happen? :thumb:

Excellent job on your Wedding Cake canopy, Trala. And, the rest of your girls look good, too. Sorry about the bud rot. Hopefully, that will be the last of it.

Always a lovely sight seeing your plants happy!

What can I add to the water to stop it?
I can't recommend what I want to. I keep forgetting you cant get it. Urgh! But there must be something else locally you can try. I know you could incorporate insect frass. I believe we discussed that before. I can't remember.

Glad to hear that they're not bad right now. Sometimes, that's the best news. Knowing that they aren't infested in your plants! Much easier to deal with a few. I recently saw thrips again but it was only one! I'll take that over hundreds or more any day. Like Shed says, having them in and out, it's inevitable that you'll be fighting pests every step of the way.

I will be growing peppermint as a companion plant in many of my containers this year. I will also continue to spray the outside of the containers with a diy peppermint oil spray that is very strong. I want to test how well it works to keep things away. I will still be using peppermint/soap sprays through veg for foliar sprays and the topsoil. In flower...gets complicated.

How does a peppermint plant effect the aroma of a three plant closet? During flower of course. Haha. Seems like a possible aromatherapy/ pest deterrent? Or am I seeing the H valve again?

Good morning Carmen :)

Welcome to my madness!

And spoiler alert, I can sometimes become a self obsessed trama seeking heat missile after a night shift, and when I say just after a night shift, I mean I can trama shift anytime LOL. On the upside I bounce back quick. 10 hours of sleep last night and I’m dressed and ready to go back for a day shift :)

So nice having another female grower!

:) :) :)
Morning Trala. The plants are all lovely, and that wedding canopy :bravo: If that Zkittles were mine I would harvest her quickly. She looks ready to me.
Well consider her done. I’ll harvest after work today.

Thanks Boo.I just never know when to do it.

I’m fucking stoked about it too!

Carhooking for life babe ;)
:meditate::love::hug::love::hug::love::hug::love: Face piles of trials with smiles:Namaste:

Yeah they are really just annoying Sunny Zkittles and mildly at that.

Sounds interesting. Like smoking an Alpine ciggie. I love peppermint. In fact I drink a peppermint tea every morning at work.

Omg HG I missed this!

How are you?!

I’ve been thinking about you!

How’s your recovery and I hope you had a fabulous birthday :)

Harvest Day - Sunny Bee

What an honour it has been to grow this two armed beauty. I really fell in love with this plant. I was so devastated when I ripped both of her arms off trying to Carhook her. Hurting her like that has kind of taught me to slow down a bit (look it prolly hasn’t but it sounded reflectiony). I really do attack things like a brain injured bull in a China shop, then pout when I fuck it up! This is my first of hopefully many more autos.

She smells so beautiful. Like frangipanis and sunshine with a twist of mango. As you can see, she will maybe yield an ounce dry (that’s the WHOLE plant I’m holding lol) and that’s fine with me. She was a little battler the whole grow.

I realised after I cut her I probably should have got some glitter shots before I cut her lol. I’m not sure what I’m looking at tbh. Could be spot on, could be 100% clear. I can’t pick it! But she’s cut, washed and drip drying now so too late if she’s underdone.

Congrats on the Zkittles takedown, Tra. I hope she produces the effects you're looking for.
