I make them so I can just swallow.

The tincture mix needs to be heated above 240° for a bit to decarb (activate) the THC in the mixture.

It's actually easier to heat the pucks in the oven, then toss into the alcohol. But, sometimes I forget, and will just put my whole tincture jar in afterwards.

Regardless... to ingest orally... decarb is a must.

Hot knives are a bit too cumbersome for me. LoL, I have terrible hand tremors. I'd fuck myself up. LoL

You can’t even believe how seriously I take dark tent time. I hope so. I’m trying so hard not to ruin them. They have become my favourite things!

So I‘m basically a scientist now.

I bought a soil pH tester, and discovered my soil pH is between 5.5 and 6.5. I’m just hoping soil pH has a similar normal range to urine, and not blood. I’ve googled soil pH, but I can’t seem to find what’s ok.

Which does it prefer, alkaline, acidic or neutral?

I have a bad feeling it neutral.

Acidic! Between 6 and 7 but ideally 6.2 to 6.8. Can someone who's not a noob please confirm? :laughtwo:
 
So long as the pH isn’t wildly out you can keep that thing in its box. It really doesn’t matter what the pH of your soil is because the microbes (that’s right, microbes) buffer the roots and look after things for us. We just need to look after the herd.
It’s coco growers and such who need to nerd out on such things. We got enough to worry about - luckily our soil pH is not one of them.

You’d think it would be like blood, I think that’s like 7.3 - 7.4 but I can’t remember it exactly.

I bought the wrong pH tester, and I always wanted to be a scientist, so I thought I’d read the directions and have a crack.... Nek minnut science degree attained.

Just quietly I think I’ll have the cure for covid sorted by the close of business tomorrow.

Is it a slurry test? Like you get a sample of the soil and swish it around in a test tube with some other stuff and read the colour?

I've done those too! It's really fun lol

Look I’m going to be honest. It’s very sciency so I don’t have high hopes that you will understand.

First I used the special spoon and scooped some dirt, then I mixed some solution with the dirt on this very scientific piece of white plastic, then I sprinkled the powder on, this process is known as step 2. Then I waited for 2 minutes staring at the plastic watching it change colour. Then and this was the most tricky part (or to use the scientific term step 3) I had to match the colour to the colour guide.
