OMG I was so mad at me. And you know what? I still haven’t googled leaf parts, so a part of me is still a bit scared they are sugar leaves, not that I even know if that makes any difference. LOL
And it usually is, but I was on my computer looking up drying methods in here coz my iPad times out as I copy it in my book.
I am wondering if I should just stick to this type of curing I’m doing now, or just attempt a small amount in the fridge. What do you think? Tell me true.
Oh and just so you know, this ongoing brain vs confidence skull fuckery that goes on inside my head isn't just growing related.
Two nights ago while cooking dinner my brain and my confidence had a dual.
I needed to pull a tray out of the oven to turn some beetroot I was roasting. My confidence decided there was an easier way - coz putting on an oven mitt is sooooo hard.
My brain: take the tray out using the oven mitt and place it on the cooktop
My confidence: Yeah nah I got a better way. I can just slide my hand into the furnace like oven and use the long tongs and turn em inside the oven
My brain: the oven rack above is too close, you'll burn us
My confidence: I won't. Just keep a steady hand and use the long tongs
My brain: we don't have long tongs
My confidence: just use the regular ones, you’ll be fine.
My brain: this is a baaaaad idea. You're going to burn us
My confidence: gurrrrllllll you got this!
My brain: fucking idiot… I told you.
The struggle is real.
