Trala’s Tent

Tonight by the rays of the first full moon of Spring I will dance naked, wearing nothing but crystals and a joyous chakra and I will plant my next two beans. (And when I say naked I mean fully clothed, and when I say crystals I mean cubic zirconia’s and when I say joyous chakra I mean red wine glow).

:green_heart::green_heart::green_heart:
Well that pissed on that amazing image, heehee. Good luck with the new beans.

Next grow officially in dirt ✅ ✅ ✅

Hopefully there will either be two clones and the female Mimosa seed or one clone and a female mimosa and a female white rhino. I’m wanting a 3 plant perpetual grow.

Cheers to friends and to successful Spring/Autumn grows for all.

:) :) :)

Oh and I think I get to see the full moon first. Make sure you do yourself a favour and look up tonight, the moon and stars are breathtakingly beautiful tonight. ⭐

We have had some amazing orange moons the last few nights too Trala . I am a mad keen sky watcher and see alot of stuff !!!. That surface you see on the moon .... A true reflection of our land masses and seas. Moon is not what we are led to believe it is !!.

Hi there

Omg I’m a grannie pantie girl from waaaaaaaaay back. No knickers are too high as far as I’m concerned :laughtwo: :laughtwo: :laughtwo:

I am so pleased. Thanks to you guys I’m getting the hang of this growing business.

If only I could get a grasp of curing.

Omg so I put it in bags, then decided It needed to go back in the jar with paper towel bottoms but wth the jar ajar, this is all 3 minutes before I need to leave for work. In my hysterical state I ladder my stockings omg I’m such a fucking mess sometimes lollllll

Anyhoo got home and they were 67% to 69%. They are now in closed jars and they have been in them for 2 hours. Humidity is 65%-66% with a closed lid. I have left the lid closed, and will recheck in the morning unless one of you guys freak me out. Lollll

I don’t think you guys realise how quick shit dries here.
65-66 is a good curing range. Burp twice a day for the 1st week. I usually open the jars and shake em up a bit, so they're not sticking together, Then I'll leave them open while I water the next batch. Usually 20 - 30 minutes for the air to exchange. Once a day week 2. Once every other day week 3. Then once a week til you smoked it all. Those cannabis cup winners cure for 6 months...

Good morning, Trala.

I can't read the plant markers. What strains are you growing this time?

Next job, when do I defol the clones? I’m thinking Friday.
I can't advise you much on defol- I do very little of it- I won't remove a leaf unless it's blocking
something important and can't be tucked out of the way.
I will remove (some of) the little branches that aren't going to reach the canopy, but I actually do a pretty crappy job of that too...

Hi C Star

Do you know what? I don’t think a slow dry means what I think it means. Or maybe it does.

I think a slow dry means going from wet washed buds, to the jar. Like the time it takes to get in the jar. Going on this my dry is very fast. 3 days from soaking wet to snapping branches to break them up. Is my thinking wrong?

I just checked my bud and WillE was 67% and Halle was 69%. I’ve tipped it out given her a shake, and put them back in the jar but left my jar ajar. Omg why does ajar mean ajar? It should be aopenacrack lollll.

Good morning Hashgirl :)

I have planted a Barneys seed called Mimosa Eva. Who if all goes well will be known as Mimmy Bee and I have a ring in seed called a White Rhino and I’m unsure what to name it because I’m unsure if it’s male or female. I need a dual name that fits both sex.

You're below 70%. So, you're okay. Take off the lid twice a day & let them air out a bit after a shake and put the lid back on. It will slowly come down as the moisture is released when you burp them.

It looks good. Nice an colourful. The shiskaberry had kept a vibrant green.

So are they still drying?

Glenn or Taylor both work. I may or may not have 2 sons with those names...
So are they still drying?
They're still drying, but also curing at the same time- that's why burping the jars is so important- when they first go into the jars at around 68%(apx.) there's still a lot of moisture that you need to get rid of-
so, every time you burp them, you'll get rid of a little bit of this moisture, until you get it down to apx. 62%.
At the target RH-62%, there's still some moisture in them, but it's below the moisture level that mold requires to grow.
Burping the jars also keeps mold from getting started while you're working your way down to 62%

I didn’t do an update on my clones on Sunday. I’ll do a proper one next Sunday coz I need to workout where I’m at at flower. My little monster cropped clones are just okay and my Reveg ain’t looking too clever at all.

OMG and this is the downside to a pool and tall trees FML LOLLLLLL

You are in the cure zone. Curing.

Tralala that seems really fast Dry!. Is there tooo much airflow in the room you are drying? Look at kimmee i love that shape You done real well
she hung outside

wait what? - you guys down under see the same moon as us??? No way, say it ain’t so.

I‘m totes jealous Tra cuz that pool looks so inviting, my summer sucked ass and it’s almost time to flip to cold season. It’s gonna drop into the 40’s next week and autumn will pop soon enough However I know a pool sweeper dude that works for buds.

we will be right back after this word from our sponsorz

Glenny Bee it is then :)

Oh I see. Well Halle is at 63% (what is apex?), WillE is still in that sweet spot of not being over. Their jars are ajar. Ajar is so dumb when you are talking about jars. When you’re talking doors - fine, but my jar is ajar just sounds dumb.

Yep got it. I have also added paper towel, I’m not exactly sure why, maybe to soak up moisture, I don’t know, but it sounded like a good idea.

Store room once again has stock

I know and I don’t know why.

I set my humidifier for 60%, I had two fans on low not blowing on it. The temp was 25 degrees, I’m not sure if that’s the problem. I have the exhaust fan thingy bringing out old air and bringing in new.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. But it was too dry for the paper bag step I had planned.

Thanks :)
