Trala’s Tent: Lucky Edition

Lucky survived being outside alone.

I‘m so happy with her progress.

Hello :)

As far as song writing goes you are quite the cunning linguist ;)

It made my nipples tingle
well @Trala , I’ve seen you around other threads, then seen this thread come up in New Posts and thought I would check it out. Comments like above and “dry as a fuck without foreplay” made me want to stay  these are my kind a people

Hello!

I‘ve seen you too ;)

I do cringe when forced to read myself back. I’m super crude in real life too. But thanks for popping in. And all feedback is welcome.

I am actually having some issues with Lucky and I’m needing advice so hopefully you can help.

First question tho, you a Scot?

Okay so Lucky is looking like she has a disability. She is only growing one side of her sets of branches. I have no idea what to do. She has shot up like a weed but is gangly. Personally I think she needs to perhaps be topped at this point, but let’s face it, when it comes to ideas I prolly shouldn’t trust my own.

All green, all so very green. :)

Lucky ain't got no disability.
She's simply a PORG, or a dwarf, or a little person, or whatever is acceptable to call them these days.

Once plants are mature (post pubescent) they grow alternate nodes.
If you look at the newer growth on your other plants you will see the same thing.
It's easy to forget she's an adult.

Just top her as you would normally, get her in plenty of light and she won't be so gangly.

Hello :)

OMG you are right I did totally forget she is an adult. I don’t really understand the alternate node thing And to me she looks like she is not growing correctly. I’ll have a look at the others tomorrow to try and see what you’re saying.

I have tried to explain what I mean in this pic, shouldn’t she have two arm parts? Like a left arm and a right arm? And don’t you DARE mock my art work! It took me fucking ages to do that! Lolling!

As if I would mock your artwork,
No way, I'm a gentleman, and gentlemen laugh and keep their mocking to themselves ;)

She's fine, she's a bit stretched but growing how she should grow.
If you top her somewhere like I've highlighted in this pic you will still end up with 2 main tops.
She might be a bit more awkward to train and at a guess the top top will end up the most dominant.

Morning Trala :)

Only my ancestry, my family has been in Nova Scotia since 1806. Loyalists who moved here after the American Revolution. I guess you could call me a ”new scot” living where I do

As for you plant, I believe Billy hit it on the head, the answer not the plant ;). My first question was to ask if it was a clone and then read Billy’s answer :)

Hi Trala,
nice save on the plant! :bravo: I agree with the topping location. No harm in going a little lower but as mentioned you want to stay above a node. Leave about a 1/2" of stem to prevent splitting. If you plan on up-potting her again then you can strip the lowest growth off and bury her deeper too.

Mr S are you here?

Bill says here at the pink line

My gut and I don‘t know why, says top here, at the last actual pair of leaves. If you have time to look on the previous page you will see they are the two leaves I negatively effected when I nit sprayed them.

Sorry about the swearing in my speech bubble, it’s not to you btw, it was to Bill, I just wanted to demonstrate a mental defective with 7 functional brain cells and a keyboard can create one. He carried on like he found a cure for covid. It’s a speech bubble mate, calm down lolling!

I know it’s a lot of plant but.,,

I am not driven by yield. Plant health is what rocks my socks.

I think she will be happier. I think she has enough green to do it. Tho flip side I’m not experienced growing weed, but I can and do grow plants. And difficult plants too. Not just plant, wet and forget. So I’m not a total fuckwit when it comes to growing.

OK, so the reason why Bill said up there is because you have good growth coming out that node. Just below where you want to cut do you have any good new growth coming from that node? Are you planning on flowering her outside as well?
That’s what he said, yes. Like good growth.

Im not sure. I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.

I only have one light so I’m unsure do I keep them all outside and use the tent to assist Lucky in veg? What ever I top I’ll try and clone. Is 14 hours of natural sun enough to keep them in veg?!

I have a 12:12 dark room that would make your green heart sing! :green_heart:

If you want to go that low then move your red line up just above that next node. That looks like some good solid growth and will give your plant some strength.
That is where the nodes become singular. As Bill rightfully pointed out. She is an adult plant in a diaper.

I’ll get a better pic so I’m sure
