I can't say I've ever seen chocolate look like that in any state of warmth. But that's just me :).

I had a brain thingie...like this :idea:
I bet it's oil. When I mix the batter it is very oily and moist. I'm sure it coats the pieces of chocolate.

Promise I didn't drool.
 
Happy and sad face about that being the last of the cookies/oil. The good thing about edibles is you don’t have to wait for the cure to make the oil. You’ll have cookies again as soon as those buds dry!! How much longer do you think you’ve got with your chickies?

Because of the sporadic nature of your browsing here, you may have missed the fact that I gave up sugar in the mid 1980s, when I was in my 20s. Until then I ate loads. In addition, my family consumes larges amounts of chocolate, almost all of it imported from the UK. :)

I hope that clears up my bona fides on the subject!
